Improving the quality of life of patients with heart valve diseases! 🫀   The team of TightValve developed a device which offers surgeons immediate feedback during some specific heart surgeries concerning valve repair. So far, they have successfully conducted tests and validation of their device using ex-vivo porcine hearts and are now looking to transition to human trials. Thanks to the supportive relationships they have with the Universität Bern and the Insel Gruppe, they are heading into the right direction to overcome these hurdles.   Within the next six months, the team is optimistic to advance to the productization phase, but they are still facing some challenges in other areas: As their expertise primarily lies in engineering and surgery, they are looking for some support in the business dimension.
