These are recent sales report at West Food Brands for the people who asked me did I have product market fit. We built up velocity on Amazon over time it took months to get the sales up. Just a little back story I started West Food Brands with $7k of stock money from a bio tech company I invested in. Then I had went all in at $20k mind you I'm in my 20s that's a lot of money for most working Americans. No VC Funding or Accelerators backing me either or crowdfunding. Kickstarter actually denied my campaign in 2022. I was able to sell on Amazon and land a few retail accounts. I wouldn't mind being a co-founder or partner in a CPG brand but definitely not starting one again myself. Honestly you need a lot of capital to get in this industry also people that believe in you. I didn't always have that and people backing me but it's a great industry if you have people/community and family who believe in you. I faced some systemic barriers very earlier I could not shake. #sales #business #forsale #mindset #businesssale #ppc #amazonppc #personalbranding #investors #development #brokers #retail #velocity #productmarketfit #productdevelopment #foodandbeverage #cpg #statistics #blackowned #generational #economicbarries #wealthgap

Instacart raised $660 million in preparation to go public, so surely they’d reward the people working hard to get them there…right? Will Fantry was expecting a raise or at least some sort of bonus after seeing his phenomenal work: 🏠 2,420 deliveries made 🍞 29,646 items handpicked 🛒 38 grocery stores shopped 🗯️ 1,358 compliments ⭐️ 948 5-star ratings 🍌 2,159 bananas delivered But instead of a reward, Instacart slashed pay for delivery drivers from a minimum of $7 per order to $4 so they would have to rely more on tips. These peer-to-peer companies like Uber, Airbnb, and DoorDash make their money by leveraging the assets of the owner, their house or their car etc… BUT they often take a big chunk of the worker’s earnings for business operations. So why is it that a few shareholders at the top get to pocket billions without sharing any of the profit? It's a stumper 🤔 This is why the #futureofwork is decentralization. Value will be redistributed to workers by removing the “middle man” to build a truly P2P economy. Don’t worry, William, your time is coming. #decentralization #peopleoperations #employeeengagement #ownership #employeeexperience

Our Supply side is creating their own demand! 😵 Rising demand creating supply is quite common in last-mile, but what about the reverse? At Blitzo, we're seeing some entrepreneurs in our Rider supply. We recently onboarded a bunch of new riders in West London to support our expansion into groceries, fuelled by our TikTok traction. Grocery stores wanted a fleet-as-a-service without paying high listing and aggregator fees, and we were game to experiment. One of our new riders, let's call him John, took his role to a whole new level 🫡 Without any prompting from us, John started pitching Blitzo to every store he picked up Deliveroo orders from. He'd inquire about their aggregator fees, gauge their satisfaction, and send us detailed reports - he was selling Blitzo better than us 😅 I called him and asked him why he's doing this. He said "I enjoy working with you guys, and I want more jobs in this area, so I'm creating a win-win situation". John's efforts led to several new partnerships with local stores facing the same high-fee problem. This organic growth is creating an interesting equation for us: - Riders like John find local demand - This increases their order volume (and earnings) - We gain more business without high marketing spend, keeping our CACs low - Stores get an affordable, on-demand fleet We're now exploring how to balance this approach with our unit economics. It might not maximize short-term profits, but it's keeping our supply side active, growing, and incredibly motivated 💪. Arjun S Khanna

When life gives you a tea stall with an Amazon cover… you get an idea!” Saw this quirky little tea stall today, covered in an Amazon-branded tarp. At first, I laughed at the randomness of it all, but then it hit me – this could be a genius branding opportunity! What if local stalls and small businesses could partner with larger brands in a win-win situation? Imagine a tea stall where you could grab a cup and order something from Amazon while waiting! Or big brands supporting grassroots vendors by sponsoring their stalls, all while giving them visibility. It’s a wild thought, but isn’t that how innovation often starts? #IdeasInAction #Innovation #Branding #SmallBusiness #AmazonTeaStall #CreativeThinking #LocalEntrepreneurship #amazon #amazonindia Amazon
