Officially certified as a Naval Science Instructor meaning I can lead US Navy JROTC and influence our young men and women possibly in military life or life in general.

This is not a topic to be considered soft or sissy or irrelevant or “get the hell out of the navy”! The simple truth of the matter, from somebody who spent tours on warships, is this: sleep deprivation harms combat readiness. IF hot bunking at the lower ratings is still in effect, it could cause some additional risks of increased sleep deprivation. At the very minimum, it could harm the potential for experienced sailors to “ship over”. Do you know what that means in a time when recruitment and retention challenges are facing unprecedented failures?

If you have read Blind Man's Bluff, you know submarines do some shady stuff! 😀 It is good to see that some of that is becoming declassified so people know what we are risking our lives to do.
