Manually researching a prospect before making a cold call can be time-consuming. I've built a workflow using Clay that significantly reduces manual input. Simply enter the domain, and the rest, including a customized script that reflects your company's values, is handled automatically. Here's how it works: - Input your company details (Manual) - Enter the target company domain (Semi-Manual) - Domain normalization (Automated) - Identification of decision-makers (Automated) - Finding of decision-makers' emails (Automated) - Finding of mobile numbers (Automated) - Finding customer profiles of the company (Automated) - Sales pitches (Automated) - Brainstorming for outreach strategies (Automated) - Script creation (Automated) Key points to remember: - Alter the parameters to fit your company's specific needs and preferences. - Add a list of decision-makers to Find Contact. - Customize the prompt. How do you make a 15-week plan to double your B2B sales pipeline? 📌 Review your current process. Surely, there is room to de-clutter. 📌 Review your current messaging. Add more clarity in what is conveyed. 📌 Review your competitors’ sites and social media. Ring any bells and whistles? This was the learning and tweaking part. And it should be done in a week’s time. Next, optimize all your social media profiles. Then, create content pillars - for the remaining 14 weeks. Posts should address your buyers’ pain points. And outcomes they care about. What should they do to achieve those outcomes, and why should they prioritize them? What beliefs they may come across, and how are those beliefs burning their dreams. Help them break those beliefs. If you want to use AI, make sure your content sounds human. (I’d say “avoid AI”). Review your target account list, Ensure that you have enough target prospect list for the next 14-weeks. (atleast 3000-5000 prospects). Take 2 or 3 LinkedIn profiles and 5-6 email IDs. Start connecting with your prospects on Linkedin. And send cold emails to prospects who did not accept your LinkedIn invite or replied to your LinkedIn message. Sounds simple, yet, boring. But it generates $$$. Imagine if the energy spent on tricking people into picking up cold calls was redirected toward understanding customers' actual habits and interests. I know... it sounds like pure Sci-Fi if you've been on the buyer's end of these calls 😂 A recent post by Samantha McKenna reminded me of when a company cold-called me relentlessly. I never picked up. Not once. AND... this company never engaged with me on LinkedIn or email. There are just too many tools and resources available now for this type of sales approach. I shamelessly used this as a chance to show how I could do genuine account research in under a minute. Note, this isn't an excuse to go hog wild on 100% AI automation and send 10,000 "personalized" emails/day to replace your cold calling (that's not really personalization, btw) Instead, this is a way to learn about prospects you want to start genuine conversations with and doing so in the most efficient way possible. 🧠 You still need your human brain to connect with the real person on the other end of your outreach. How often do you get prospects calling YOU after you've sent them a cold email? We just released our latest AI personalisation update last week and had 4 different customers ask us whether prospects get taken out of the outbound sequence when a prospect calls them off the back of an email. 4 of them had received phone calls after one of their target contacts received one of the Profitate emails. The short answer is not yet. That's a feature we need to build. But what excites this founder is that in all my years of doing outbound sales MANUALLY I reckon I've had one prospect call me after getting an initial outbound email. A reply email is generally what I'd be aiming for. Is it the industries these 4 customers sell to that prompted the call conversions, or is the personalisation or trigger so relevant that the prospect had to pick up the phone? Or is it something else?? Let's find out. Also delighted that a potential customer we demo'd the system to last week said this about the draft emails the system generated for them with the new ai release; "Your examples are spot on and way better than my emails ;-)" Our goal is to keep building sales personalisation at scale that doesn't just match what great sales people do, it actually surpasses it. #aiworkforce #personalisedoutbound #sales #outreach

If you had 40 hours a week, 160 hours a month, to do ONE thing… …Identify, contact and convert ideal prospects into sales appointments, how many calls would you book? 10 appointments a month? …16 hours to book one. 20 appointments a month? …8 hours to book one. 50 appointments a month? …3 hours to book one. What would you net from an additional 20 calls a month with sniper-targeted prospects? ^^ my answer when prospects ask me what makes us different from other outbound agencies. We don’t do magic, it’s no secret, It’s no rocket science. Rather than trying to automate everything with AI, automation or Virtual Assitants… Our Sales Professionals spend hours researching every prospect to craft highly targeted messages that convert… and communicate it across social media messaging, emails & cold calls. It’s just hard work & common sense - back to the basics of what actually works. If you had the 40 hours and the muse to do it, you would ABSOLUTELY do it yourself. But you don’t have the 40 hours nor the muse to do it. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have clients to book appointments for.
