When you consider an annual membership, it can be easy to think that seeing the same women, every month, wouldn’t be as effective as joining lots of non-membership groups, and meeting lots of new faces all the time. But that’s a misconception. Effective networking is about a lot more that just showing your face once a month and collecting piles of business cards. When you invest financially to your networking, you tend to be more committed. At the end of the day, you have to consider the ROI. So, you put the effort in to ensure it’s valuable. You’ll also notice, that when you’re invested in one group, that will very quickly become your go-to place when you’re looking for products or services. The same is true of everyone else. I recently experienced the true power of networking in action. Earlier this year, I attended a Strategic Mind Society event. I met an incredible group of like-minded entrepreneurs there.
