⛔️ Losing deals to the status quo? | Sales Training + Coaching for B2B Sales Teams and AEs That Gets Results | 4X Salesforce Top Influencer | WSJ Best-Selling Author | Feat. in Forbes & Entrepreneur

Most people try to fancy of a cold call opener. I like to keep it very simple: "Hi {{NAME}}, It's {{Your first name}} with {{Your company name}}. Thanks for taking my call --" That's it. It's not fancy but it works and is to the point as the next phase is explaining directly why I'm calling. But what's far more important than what you say? HOW you say it. Watch this short clip to hear exactly how to do it. *********** I share everything I've learned hitting and exceeding my quota 13 years in a row in a short and free training every Monday. I do my best to make every single one immediately actionable and useful. Join over 70,000 here: https://lnkd.in/gXwDhww6

So important that it sounds NATURAL and CONFIDENT. If it feels forced or overly scripted you feel it and so does the prospect. How are you is a throwaway setence too haha i agree

Absolutely agree, Marcus! I used to overthink my cold call openers too, until I realized simple and genuine always works best. I've found that starting with a question about their recent achievements or challenges shows I've done my homework and care about their success. It's all about building a real connection from the start!

Everyone is trying to 'out clever' everyone else. You don't have to be clever though - you've got to be clear. Back to basics.

This is different from what most people are doing, and with the right tonality, I bet it performs really well.

Marcus, agree that it's not what you say, but how. Overcomplicating won't help. Sometimes, simplicity is key. Want to try our technique at Belov Digital?

Exactly why cold calling from a big brand works much better than a smaller one, Marcus Chan. Although that doesn't mean the smaller one can't become successful. İt's just a bit more creativity and diligence as a smaller brand.
