I’m excited to announce that I have successfully completed the CCNA course National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) with 120 hours of intensive learning! Throughout the 90 technical hours, I gained in-depth knowledge of: 📌Networking fundamentals and protocols (TCP/IP): Understanding how data moves across networks and the different layers involved. 📌Configuring and setting up routers and switches: Including VLANs and STP to enhance network efficiency and security. 📌IP addressing and subnetting: Mastering how to calculate and allocate addresses to optimize resource usage. 📌Routing protocols (OSPF & EIGRP): Learning how to configure these protocols to ensure seamless and secure data flow between networks. 📌Cybersecurity: Understanding the basics of securing networks and protecting data from potential threats. A special thanks to Dr. Mohamed Budran for their guidance and support during the CCNA technical training, helping me deepen my understanding of these critical concepts. In addition, I spent 30 hours developing my soft skills, which included: 📌Communication and presentation skills: Learning how to convey ideas clearly and effectively. 📌Leadership and teamwork: Enhancing my ability to lead projects and collaborate within teams. 📌Time management: Learning to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently. 📌Business writing: Improving my ability to write professional reports and documents. 📌Critical thinking and problem-solving: Developing my ability to analyze and solve complex problems. 📌Personal branding: Learning how to present myself professionally in interviews and work settings. 📌Resume writing skills: Crafting a resume that effectively showcases my skills and experiences. A huge thank you to Eng. Ahmed H El-Tonoby for their incredible mentorship during the soft skills training, which helped me grow personally and professionally. My CCNA preparation Where do I start from with this topic? Hmmmm ok let’s do it this way. First of all I want to say I am grateful, I have been connecting with alot of people on this platform. I have gotten more insight and knowledge about CCNA just from people I connected with. But I am going to be honest I have been getting alot of DMs on how I prepared for my CCNA exams. So I would love to share my own experiences with you all. (My own concepts could be totally different from yours and you probably might not agree with it but that’s ok do what works for you). These are my few points. 1) Have a Mentor: I had someone who is a mentor and a friend to me in Networking. He is a CCIE and was practically more advanced than me. But he nurtured me and made sure I attended classes and when I had difficulties I brought it to him and he explained in depth what I was missing. His name is Kweku Folson. He was one of the reasons I didn’t give up. Even though sometimes I knew I was getting under his skin and if he had his way to spank me he will. 😂😂😂 2)Don’t skip nothing: Yes I know you have that urge to skip that topic u don’t like, but pls don’t. For you to understand networking u have to start from the root. Infact start from the definition of what is Networking. You can’t understand wildcard mask without knowing subnet mask. Subnet mask comes first. And there are so many configurations that require a wildcard mask input. 3) Practice Like Your Exam Depends on It (Because It Does): Reading alone won’t cut it. Fire up simulators like Cisco Packet Tracer and start configuring, breaking, and fixing networks. The more you practice, the more likely you are to stay calm when things go sideways. I made alot of mistakes but practicing regularly got me through. The wrong letter can keep you in a spot for long. (I will never forget CDP neighbors. I kept spelling it as Neighbour rather than neighbor and it kept rejecting my command) yeah I know what you thinking 😂😂 that was dumb of me. 4. Take Breaks (Seriously, Your Brain Needs Them): Studying for hours on end might seem heroic, but it’s a fast track to burnout. Take breaks, stretch, grab a coffee, or watch an episode of your favorite show. Trust me, a well-rested brain absorbs way more info than an exhausted one. I suffered severe mental fatigues and I can remember taking a week off this was like a month to my exam. I couldn’t comprehend anything. So I shutdown my laptop. Kept my books in a place I won’t see them so I don’t have the urge to read and all I did was eat, sleep and watch movies. The following week I got back. My brain was refreshed and I was able to comprehend better than before. 5. Laugh at Your Mistakes: You will mess up, and that’s okay! Misconfigurations, missed steps, they’re all part of the learning process. Instead of getting frustrated, laugh it off, learn from it, and move on. After all, nobody ever became a network guru without making a few mistakes along the way.

I spent over 100 hours studying for the CCNA 200-301 Exam, and it was an enlightening experience. The knowledge gained can be seen as a valuable asset in the IT field. Here are 3 critical takeaways that will help turn your networking studies into a goldmine: 1. Understanding of Network Components The number one thing you need for CCNA is a deep understanding of network components like routers and switches. Additionally, comprehending the intricacies of network protocols is key. Combine both for a comprehensive understanding of how networks function. 2. The Art of Troubleshooting While reading the book, I learned how vital it is to develop an eye for spotting network issues. The classic example is identifying routing problems. Use diagnostic tools, then take corrective action. 3. Network Security CCNA 200-301 is comprehensive, so understanding network security is paramount. Start by learning about different threats, then master how to implement security measures until you are proficient in securing networks. The mantra "Routing and Switching" stuck with me throughout my study journey. Don't overlook these fundamental aspects, but also don't rush into mastering them without a solid foundation. How has the CCNA 200-301 exam shaped your networking skills? #CCNA #Networking #Cisco

With my new pursuit for CCIE Security; this will be my 2nd CCIE. My first was in 2016 with Route and Switch and still that mastery remains solid in this brain. Still today I have been growing from that experience and still has been the hardest thing I have ever accomplished in my life, overcame, and I know for a fact that it will not be the same this time around. I will still be using physical equipment with my lab, not virtual, and once I find work, I will be getting Narbik Kocharians training course for Security. If he still doing boot camps, I am going to do it like he suggested. Attend the bootcamp in the beginning and return before the exam. I actually think attending three times is optimal me. Yes i am ready to ride that train once again with one major difference. The doubt will not be controlling my destiny as it once did. And boy is doubt the most powerful thing on this planet. Our self destructive force of this emotional self-made prison no longer has any power over this human. Non the less, Kiel Martin is back after dealing with life issues and yet again......he has become The Return of the Jedi. I am thinking of bringing Youtube BOODUH back online (Bringing Others Organized Diverse Universal Help). Not just the technology but a philosophy behind the reason we live the lives of the Source and Destination Frames of our existence, which is why people come and talk about it the next day. My Udemy course is still on there and my three-book-series are still available. The Pre-guide to Success. And always remember...... Be Strong! Be Determined! Be Cisco!

*It is worth to learn CCNA in 2024💫 ?* The first thing to clarify is that CCNA is a basic-level certification provided by CISCO that covers the basic knowledge of networking, the devices used in networking, and how networking works. It helps you gain a basic understanding of networking, and without CCNA knowledge, you cannot proceed with further certifications. 🍃🍂 So, to answer your question, I would say, "Yes, CCNA is worth it in 2024," and it has been worth it over the last 20 years. It won't go away until Cisco updates it, as it is a globally recognized certification that validates your knowledge and skills in entry-level networking. But you should also know that CCNA certification doesn't matter if you have strong networking fundamentals, as employees no longer look for your certification. They are looking for candidates with better skills, knowledge, and experience. Therefore, we always suggest instead of investing USD 300 + Taxes on attempting the CCNA Certification exam; you should invest that money in getting advanced networking training like CCNP ENCOR, DevNet Associate, CCNP Security, etc. These courses will help you land much more rewarding jobs. Coming back to CCNA, if it is new to you, then the first thing you need to do is strengthen your networking basics. Many training institutes help you learn both theoretical and practical concepts. However, if you are someone who has some CCNA knowledge, then you can also revise your concepts with free resources that are available abundantly online. You can also take the help of PyNet Labs' YouTube channel, where you can find the complete playlist of CCNA 200-301 training in English and Hindi and Urdu. You can also get help from various technical blogs that are easily available on the PyNet Labs' website. In conclusion, CCNA is worth it until Cisco discontinues it. If you are a fresher, then CCNA is a good option for you to start a career in the networking field and gain some experience in this field. I hope you got your answer, but if you have any doubts, DM me. #CCNA2024 #NetworkingCertification #CareerAdvice #CiscoCertification #NetworkingBasics #CareerGrowth #ITCertification #PyNetLabs #LinkedInNetworking #CareerDevelopment #ProfessionalSkills #TechIndustry #ITTraining Good Luck
