SES Satellites #O3b mPower seems an interesting alternative to Eutelsat OneWeb. Will O3b be purely for existing major telcos, which invariably drag their feet in providing connectivity to the 3 Billion targeted by SES who are unconnected, or will SES have a broader approach and embrace IT and connectivity integrators such as Steve Roberts Arqueiro Telecom who provides connectivity to rural Brazil, or BLUETOWN who provide sustainable connectivity in Africa. SES O3b's video is here. My guess is that SES will be dragged back to the old legacy way of approaching the market, and deal with leadfooted telcos and concrete booted government agencies, not realising that there are fast moving innovative providers such as Brdy. Wireless Broadband, Wildanet, Onwave and many others desperate for an alternative to #Starlink. 🔔 New Galileo Timing Service Message Operational Service Definition Released EUSPA, together with the European Commission, has published updates to the Galileo Timing Service Message (TSM) Operational Service Definition (OSD). GNSS Timing and Synchronisation are crucial for critical infrastructures like 4G/5G networks, banking, and electricity grids. As digital networks grow and require tighter synchronisation, the demand for high-accuracy time and frequency stability increases.
