I have 3 kids. 1 is adopted from East St. Louis. 2 are IVF babies made possible by an egg donor. (So, I have 3 kids, and 50% of 2 of them are genetically related to me and Dem.) The last 2 were made possible by the profit from the law firm. These babies don't exist if I run a firm at cost, or even at a small profit margin. This is why it's so important to create a firm that serves clients well, that is staffed with great team members, that charges a lot for services. If you don't, profit will not flow, and you will not be able to spend that profit on things that create deep meaning in your life.
