Professor for Image Understanding and Medical Application of Artificial Intelligence

New paper: We approached the topic of AI-based decision support systems in medicine from three distinct perspectives: the ethical one, the behavioral one, and the technical one. Our main hypothesis is that the interaction between physicians and AI recommenders needs to consider multiple aspects from all three disciplines. I think it's the first paper that I was co-writing that had no figures whatsoever ;-) - and it's out now in Technology in Society: https://lnkd.in/e2MRyWJ4 Major thanks to Matthias Uhl, Sebastian Krügel, Alexis Fritz, Angelika Kießig, and Jonas Ammeling for this nice collaboration. Also, a major thanks to the Bayerisches Forschungsinstitut für Digitale Transformation (bidt) for funding our project "ReGInA".
