Microsoft-channel-network people. You still remember Steve Ballmer and his everlasting enthusiasm in cheering up the crowds? Apparently, the man has slowed down a bit and is now working on an interesting initiative. For everybody that loves data, here's a 15 minute reflection from him on the US economy. Do you go all-in on the Microsoft Suite? Or do you use Google and the best tool in each category? You can't do Microsoft + Slack or Zoom or pretty much whatever. Bill's team doesn't play nice with other stuff. The strategy is to make you go ALL THE WAY IN. They're the OG monopoly in tech. They want your SOUL. Should you give it to them? Whether you will give it to them will depend pretty much on what a few key people in your organisation think—or should I say, are used to. Going all in one Microsoft is not the right strategy for a high-growth or scaling brand. Fortune 500, yeah, they'll use Microsoft, but they're not playing to win. They've got it all to lose. For organisations that size, Microsoft is one decision that makes a thousand for security, predictability, and scalability. It is unlikely to be for you. Reactions are often immediate and sometimes inaccurate. Those knowledgeable about technology should have refrained from directly blaming Microsoft and instead waited for clarity before sharing their insights. In today's social media-driven world, where instant reactions are encouraged, it's crucial to cultivate patience and provide well-considered responses after understanding the situation fully.

I now make it a habit to revisit my own goals regularly, asking questions like, “Is this still where I want to go?” and “Am I making decisions that actually align with this?” It’s been a game-changer for me, helping me to filter out distractions and stay on course. 🚀 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲: Clarity has the power to transform.
