It’s encouraging to see that the German market is finally catching up with generative AI! According to KPMG Deutschland's latest report, over half of German companies are planning to significantly increase their investments in generative AI within the next 12 months—some by more than 40%. This marks a crucial shift from experimentation to strategic implementation. However, there’s still a long way to go. While companies are optimistic about the potential for increased turnover, automation, and cost reductions, significant challenges remain. A lack of clear strategy, governance, and adequate training are hindering progress, with only 31% of companies having a defined AI strategy. Additionally, there are growing concerns about whether organizations have the right capabilities and resources in place to effectively implement and scale generative AI technologies. The German market may have been slow to start, but the gears are finally turning. Now is the time for companies to double down on strategy, governance, and upskilling to truly harness the power of generative AI. #GenerativeAI #AI #GermanEconomy #Innovation #AILeadership #DigitalTransformation https://lnkd.in/dbUtCr2m
