Perception Vs Perspective Very confusing- but what I understand: Perspective is the lens through which we perceive things/people/events So well put and the image compliments the text appropriately.

Perception vs. Perspective: A Breakdown Perception and perspective are often used interchangeably, but they have distinct meanings. Perception #Definition: The process of interpreting sensory information to make sense of the world. #Key Points: * It's subjective and influenced by individual experiences, beliefs, and biases. * It's the way we interpret and understand the world around us. * Examples: How you perceive the taste of a new food, or how you interpret a friend's tone of voice. Perspective #Definition: A particular viewpoint or standpoint from which something is considered. #Key Points: * It's influenced by factors like culture, upbringing, and personal experiences. * It can shape how we perceive things. * Examples: A historical perspective on a current event, or a political perspective on social issues. In essence: #Perception is about how we see the world. #Perspective is the lens through which we see it. #To illustrate: Imagine you're looking at a painting. Your perception might be that the colors are bright and the subject matter is joyful. Your perspective might be influenced by your knowledge of art history, the artist's style, or your personal feelings about the artwork. In conclusion, while perception and perspective are interconnected, they are not identical. Perception is about how we interpret information, while perspective is about the lens through which we view that information.
