🎉𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 Champions for Literacy 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭🎉 Thanks to our Team, Board, and Support Community, 2023 was our strongest year yet.✅ Our Mission is to use the power of sports to impact childhood reading across three pillars: 1️⃣ 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 - CFL hosted 54 Fight for Literacy Games with collegiate sports teams across the country. 2️⃣ 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 - CFL generated $403,799 to fund 42 reading projects across the country, leveraging the platform of sports to do so. 3️⃣ 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐤𝐢𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 - CFL engaged 275 athletes to harness their status in communities to inspire kids to build the habit of reading.
