Yesterday, my strategy paper "Engaging the Community in Grants Development Through Participatory Action Research" was published in the Journal of the Grant Professionals Association. In the paper, I draw parallels between grants development and implementation with the practice of participatory action research. This is a powerful way to engage stakeholders in the community in designing projects that meet their needs and improve buy in. Your prioritizing of profits, your outrageous $6790 APC (which you are able to do based on legacy first-mover advantage much more than higher-quality service) strongly conflict with my interest in effective spending by universities and funders.
