ADM NANNY SERVICES Certainly! Let's differentiate between a babysitter and a nanny: **Babysitter:** 1. **Scope of Work:** Babysitters provide short-term care for children, typically on an occasional basis. 2. **Hours:** They usually work irregular hours and are often hired for evenings, weekends, or specific occasions when parents need childcare. 3. **Responsibilities:** Babysitters focus on basic childcare tasks such as playing with children, preparing simple meals or snacks, supervising activities, and putting children to bed. **Nanny:** 1. **Scope of Work:** Nannies provide regular, ongoing childcare in the family's home. 2. **Hours:** They work full-time or part-time hours that are consistent and typically follow a set schedule. 3. **Responsibilities:** Nannies have more comprehensive responsibilities that may include preparing meals for children, engaging in educational activities, transporting children to and from activities, assisting with homework, and sometimes handling light housework related to the children (like laundry or tidying their rooms). **Key Differences:** - **Duration of Service:** Babysitters are hired for short periods as needed, whereas nannies are often employed on a longer-term basis. - **Consistency:** Nannies typically work regular hours and have a more structured routine compared to babysitters. - **Level of Engagement:** Nannies often have a deeper involvement in the children's daily lives and may develop a closer relationship with them due to the regularity of their care. Both babysitters and nannies play crucial roles in providing childcare, but the main distinction lies in the duration and consistency of their service, as well as the scope of responsibilities they undertake.

Please don't take the 'off-the-shelf' solution! 😱 Just because your friends' nanny is absolutely brilliant and their children adore her, it doesn't mean she's the right nanny for you. You have unique childcare, lifestyle, and routine needs that are absolutely unique to you. And unless you've hired loads of nannies in the past, only someone with the right experience and knowledge can help you truly understand what you need before you start the time-consuming process of sifting through CVs and hosting interviews and trials. Sadly, not all nanny agencies invest the time or resources to find out what your needs, requirements, and preferences are - not when you first start working with them, and not when you're weeks into the process. 🌟 Which is where we come in... At Homebodies, we treat each family as one-of-a-kind. We find you a nanny that reflects your specific dynamics and values. Overview Consider the amount of children the babysitter, nanny or adult care attendant will be looking after, as well as their ages. Younger children tend to require more energy and attention than older children. It's also a good idea to factor in any other responsibilities your babysitter, nanny or adult care attendee will take on. For example, if they're assisting out with more than just child care and/or adult, such as laundry, grocery shopping, cleaning and any other household chores, their salary should reflect these tasks. As you make your budget, also keep in mind that it's common to tip your nanny around the holidays (54 percent of families sometimes or always do this, according to a recent Sitter city survey). Finding great child/ adult care that you can trustworthy shouldn't have to be so hard. I’m here to help you find quality care you need for your child. If The Client is utilizing their YourGo Nanny, Babysitter & Adult Care with Alexis for parties, special events and/or specialized services this will reflect in the guideline of scope of services. What do I take into account to adjust my hourly pay rate? Now that you have a good estimate of what the average nanny expects to earn in your area, you need to look at the details of the job you’re offering and the credentials of the nannies you’re interviewing to fine-tune the final pay rate. Here are four major factors to consider: 1. How many children/adults your nanny/babysitter will care for Nannies who watch multiple children should earn more than nannies watching one child. Best practices are to increase your hourly rate $1 to $2 per hour for each additional child a babysitter or nanny cares for. 2. How much experience your nanny/Babysitter has According to the International Nanny Association’s most recent salary benefits survey, nannies with less than two years of experience earn about $2 less per hour than nannies with 3-5 years of experience. Additionally, a nanny with 7-10 years experience earns about $2 per hour more than a nanny with 3-5 years of experience. The point is, the more experience a candidate has, the more you can expect to pay for their services. 3. Whether your nanny is first aid or CPR certified If so, they most likely should command a higher hourly rate than a candidate with no medical training. The added peace of mind knowing your nanny can provide a basic level of support for your child if something goes wrong is generally worth paying extra for. 4. Any job responsibilities that go beyond caring for your kids Some families ask their nanny/Babysitter to pitch in with additional household help, such as laundry and running errands. If you’re planning to ask your nanny to handle things like this, expect to pay them additional money for these tasks.
