“Thou seest the mountains and thinkest them firmly fixed: but they shall pass away as the clouds pass away.”(an-Naml: 88) With this verse, the Quran informs us that mountains are not motionless as they seem, but are in constant motion. What does the movement of mountains like clouds mean? What do scientists say about this fact informed by the Quran 1.400 years ago? ICYMI: Two researchers transect the inhospitable Namib desert, in search of evidence of ancient human existence in this harsh landscape. Strewn across the Namib desert is a treasure trove of stone tools of which little is known because getting to them is so difficult. Aligning with the Himalayan way of life emphasizes humble coexistence with nature, recognizing the Himalayas as a living, evolving entity. This approach fosters sustainable living, reduces environmental impact, and promotes a deeper connection with the natural world. By adopting this mindset, we can better preserve fragile ecosystems and ensure a balanced, harmonious existence.
We need Himalay for existence, therefore we need to think act and work as per himalayan way of life. When we try to create a anthropocentric system in such fragile and sensitive ecosystem then we must prepare to bear the consequences. Himalay is living, and constantly evolving just as any other facet of nature, therefore considering them just a mountain where we can curate and script human conquest will be a folly. It's not about man versus mountain it's about man's humble coexistence in the mountain environment. So let's take a pledge to rescript our existence theory, make ourselves more mountain acceptable, and imbibe the Himalayan Intelligence. #undp #unep #moefcc #pmo #psa #slowliving #ecofeminism #deepecology #USCOST #pushardhami #undrr #Himalay #HESCO

The fourteen worlds and their planetary systems undergo *repeated cycles of sṛiṣhṭi, sthiti, and pralaya* (creation, preservation, and dissolution). All planetary systems, up to the Mahar Lok, are destroyed at the end of a *kalp* (Brahma’s day of 4.32 billion years). This partial dissolution is called *naimittik pralaya*. https://lnkd.in/gQcWSg8k Nice verse from Swami Mukundananda ji.

Miracles of the Quran. Quran, Chapter 24, Verse 40: “..The unbelievers’ state is like the darkness in a deep sea. It is covered by waves, above which are waves, above which are clouds. Darknesses, one above another. If a man stretches out his hand, he cannot see it.” Scientists have recently discovered this darkness by means of special equipment and submarines that have enabled them to dive into the depths of the oceans. What about the verse, “...in a deep sea. It is covered by waves, above which are waves, above which are clouds....”, It is clear that the second set of waves are the surface waves that we see, because the verse mentions that above the second waves there are clouds. But what about the first waves? Scientists have recently discovered that there are internal waves below the surface waves. The internal waves cover the deep waters of seas and oceans because the deep waters have a higher density than the waters above them. Internal waves act like surface waves. Internal waves cannot be seen by the human eye, but they can be detected by studying temperature or salinity changes at a given location. How can prophet Muhammad knows this 1400 years ago? Im a believer. #ammarshares #miracleofquran #interestingfact
