Gratitude isn’t just a feeling—it’s a choice. Happy Thanksgiving to all our U.S. friends and beyond. Thanksgiving is more than turkey and traditions. It’s a reminder of the power of reflection. A chance to pause in a world that rarely slows down. It shifts our focus from what’s missing to what we already have. The people in our lives. The lessons we’ve learned. The small wins that carry us forward. Gratitude isn’t passive—it’s transformative. It re-centers us, helping us lead and live with purpose. So today, whether you’re celebrating with family or reflecting quietly, take a moment. Choose gratitude. What are you most grateful for this year?

Never a Bad Time to be Grateful While Thanksgiving undoubtedly presents an opportune time for gratitude, I think it’s a dominant strategy to always be grateful. When we choose to be grateful, it can transform even the most challenging situations: declining an offer from someone, sharing difficult news, etc. Gratitude allows our sincerity shine through more effectively and helps us maintain our integrity during these interactions. I work quite a few gratefulness practices and there are 2 that I really like: 1. Upon waking, say out loud 5 things that I’m grateful for. This puts a healthy ‘lens’ on for the day. 2. Prior to meetings, intentionally create my way of being and include gratitude as part of it. I stay more centered this way. Thanks Ron Macklin for this one. I’m curious what works for everyone else.

As we gather this Thanksgiving, let’s take a moment to reflect on the true power of gratitude. 🍂 Giving thanks isn’t just a holiday tradition—it’s a daily practice that brings joy and fulfillment into our lives. This Thanksgiving, let’s ask ourselves: What are you most grateful for this year? How can we continue to live in a state of gratitude every day? 🙏 Wishing you and your loved ones a Thanksgiving filled with love, gratitude, and joy. 🧡 #GratitudeIsTheAttitude #LiveWithThanks #FulfillmentThroughGratitude

As we approach Thanksgiving, I find myself reflecting on the many things I’m grateful for—both personally and professionally. This season is more than a time for turkey and traditions; it’s an opportunity to pause and recognize the people, lessons, and experiences that shape our lives and careers. To my incredible team: Thank you for your hard work, innovation, and dedication. Your efforts power not just our business but also our mission to make a meaningful impact. To my colleagues and connections here on LinkedIn: You inspire me daily. The shared insights, the collaboration, and the simple yet profound act of supporting each other remind me of the power of community. To my family and friends: Thank you for being my anchor and cheering section, keeping me grounded and motivated through the challenges and victories alike. This year, I’ve learned that gratitude isn’t just a sentiment; it’s a practice. Whether it’s thanking someone for their efforts, celebrating small wins, or simply taking a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come, gratitude fuels resilience, fosters connection, and opens the door to growth. As we prepare to gather around the table tomorrow, I encourage each of you to think about who or what you’re grateful for—and if possible, take a moment to share it. Let’s make gratitude a part of our daily lives, not just a holiday tradition. It’s a Thursday, Thankful Thursday, Thanksgiving in the US. It’s a day when many give and express gratitude for what they have, what’s been and what is still to come. Even when times are tough, when there’s challenges to navigate through, there’s always something you can find to be grateful for.🙏 Even if you have to dig a bit harder on occasion to do so. Even if you’re expressing your gratitude through gritted teeth and it not being an easy thing to do. Living a life of gratitude doesn’t mean you won't experience hard times. It means you’ll appreciate them for what they are, learn from them and move through and beyond them. It means you’ll turn your struggles into opportunities for growth rather than a catalyst for tearing you down. It means you’ll focus on your goals and what you can do to achieve them. As the wonderful Danelle Delgado says you have a choice - ‘a life of gratitude or one without.’ I know which I’d choose! How about you? Which one will you choose? And Happy Thanksgiving to all in the US 🙏

Erica, your realization about the power of gratitude is profound and transformative. For too long, we get caught up in the relentless pursuit of more - more money, status, possessions - blindly sprinting towards an elusive state of "happiness" that always seems just out of reach. Your journey has revealed the simple yet life-changing truth that happiness is not a destination, but a state of mind cultivated through appreciating the blessings we already have. By shifting your focus to the richness surrounding you - the shelter, nourishment, relationships, and wonders of nature that so many take for granted - you've tapped into an inexhaustible wellspring of contentment. In our culture of constant want and consumption, embracing gratitude is a revolutionary act that frees us from the shackles of insatiable desire. Your story reminds us that the key to fulfillment lies not in accumulating more, but in cherishing what we have with open hearts and minds. As you've experienced, when we approach life from a place of thankfulness, we attract more abundance, joy, and serenity. Your Easter message is a potent call to awaken from the trance of discontentment and bear witness to the miracles unfolding all around us each day. May your words inspire others to embark on their own transformative journeys towards appreciating the sacred gifts that life continuously bestows upon us all. Thank you for sharing your hard-won wisdom - it's a light that can help illuminate the path for countless souls still seeking their own way to happiness.

I’ve found the secret to happiness. And it took me 29 years to realize this. All it is, is having gratitude for what you have. That’s it. The roof above your head. The food in your kitchen. Your friends. Your family. Your health. Your ability to exercise. The sun. The fresh air. I spent so long sprinting from one thing to the next, racing to get to a place where I’d be “happy.” When I got there, I never was. Right now my life not might look like what I want it to, but I’m happy. Because I’m grateful and appreciate what I have right now. And when you express gratitude for what you have, more will come your way. What are you grateful for? Have a beautiful long weekend, happy Easter! 💜 #gratitude

Some days it is difficult to notice or remember all the wonderful things that we have going for us. It often takes holidays like Thanksgiving that give us pause for reflection. Perhaps it’s because we find ourselves supping with family and friends, who serve as reminders of what is truly deserving of our focus and energy. And, as we recover from Thanksgiving weekend festivities, challenge yourself to be grateful the other 364 days of the year. Practice gratitude with intention. Share with others what and who you’re thankful for. Take action to create a positive environment that will encourage gratitude. Start by simply asking yourself what you are grateful for! 🤔
