Here's an example of why follower count should not matter... As a micro-influencer (30,000 followers) in the motherhood space, I recently partnered with a pediatrics company. I posted ✨ONE✨ Instagram story frame for them and generated - 158 clicks 23 signups (~15% conversion rate - from a singular static image) This is not a brag. When I worked for a brand that wanted influencers, I actually searched relevant hashtags and then sorted through profiles. If the following was too big, I passed. They didn't want the posts to get lost in the algorithm.
