Episode #13: What makes Måna a Global Platform? This week’s installment of “A Conversation with The Social Media Professor,” Dr. Niklas Myhr, a Marketing Professor at Chapman University, asks the question in Episode #13: What makes Måna a Global Platform? In today’s episode, Anders & I share our insights on the capabilities that make Måna a global platform and its abilities to help family members communicate to their loved ones from any continent around the world. With our intuitive symbol-based user interface and our adaptive language modes based on leveraging Generative AI, the Måna platform is configurable at turn on or on the fly to accommodate the needs among the Caregiver, Family Members, and Client. Our goal remains to provide a socially inclusive day to day experience for the elderly and cognitively challenged communities to help them maintain an independent lifestyle. We hope today’s video continues to provide more insights into our Måna platform. Age Tech …. In this week’s installment of “A Conversation with The Social Media Professor,” Dr. Niklas Myhr asks Anders & I the Question: “Why is Age Tech Investing and Development so Limited”? Age tech refers to digital technology that is built around the needs and wants of older adults, which include them in the design process. Simply stated, Age Tech could be any type of technology that improves the lives of aging adults. As Anders states in the video, while organizations recognize the exponential growth of >65+ year olds is a serious problem, money is being allocated to groups for studying the problem. However, it is time to move past the study phase and fund activities that provide new “Age Tech” solutions. Måna is designed to address these problems by offering an intuitive platform that provides Caregivers a way to reach and care for more elderly clients in the comfort of their homes. In doing so, this reduces the financial burdens placed on cities in the US and municipalities in Europe. Ultimately resulting in a solution that enables family members and friends to re-connect socially with their loved ones and to help reduce feelings of loneliness. We hope everyone enjoys the video.....
Episode #9: Why is Age Tech Investing and Development so Limited? This week’s installment of “A Conversation with The Social Media Professor,” Dr. Niklas Myhr, a Marketing Professor at Chapman University, focuses on Episode #9: Why is Age Tech Investing and Development so Limited? Age tech refers to digital technology that is built around the needs and wants of older adults, which include them in the design process. Simply stated, Age tech could be any type of technology that improves the lives of aging adults. Our mission at Måna Care remains fully focused on addressing the global growth of our aging population >65+ year olds vs the rest of the population needed to care for these individuals. As of 2022 this ratio of >65+ year olds vs. the rest of the eligible caregiving population in the US and Europe was 30:1. By 2030 this is expected to grow to 40:1, resulting in a server shortage of eligible caregivers. Måna was developed to help Service professional multiply their reach. This Digitalization of the Caregiving Industry allows Caregivers to provide a high quality of care to more clients, while enabling Family members to communicate and coordinate the day-to-day activities of their loved ones. The ultimate benefit is that the elderly become re-connected to their family social networks. We hope today’s video provides more insight into the Måna platform. Management scholars: How do you cut a paper from 60+ pages to make it acceptable for #AMR? How do you bounce back after getting a paper rejected elsewhere to get it accepted at #AMR? How can you build on and extend a fundamental, long-standing set of ideas to make a theoretical contribution? These are all issues we tackle in the latest episode of the AMR Origins Series with Nicolay Worren and Shawn Pope, CFA,PhD. They discuss the development of their AMR article, “Connected but Conflicted: Separating Incompatible Roles in Organizations." In our latest episode, we dive deep into the mechanics of confidence with none other than Jeremy Lasman, a man who transitioned from the high-stakes environment of SpaceX to pioneering a new frontier with Imagination Technology. Jeremy challenges the conventional wisdom that confidence is just about self-assurance. Instead, he posits it's a tool—a catalyst for personal growth and innovation. But here's the kicker: confidence, when dampened, can sometimes be the very thing that propels us to try harder and push boundaries. This isn't your typical self-help fluff. Jeremy's approach is rooted in real-world experiences, where confidence isn't just a feel-good mantra but a strategic asset. He explains how imagination technology can accelerate healing, freedom, and mastery, offering a fresh perspective on how we can harness our inner creativity to fuel success. It's a bold claim, but Jeremy's insights might just be the paradigm shift you need. Listen to the episode and discover how you can leverage confidence as a powerful tool for your personal and professional growth.
