This change is designed to align our operations with our mission better, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive growth. It's a step forward in our journey toward a more customer-centric and growth-oriented future, a journey we're all a part of. Over the past few weeks, we have discussed the road ahead with our incredible teams in Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir. Together, we have explored how to navigate this transition, build the needed skills, express our emotions, provide direct feedback, and take ownership of the change ahead of us. Our approach to talent development revolves around believing in the potential of our team members and offering the opportunities and support needed for everyone to thrive. This journey feels especially poignant as it follows my unforgettable experience in Basel, Switzerland 🇨🇭 , in 2020, just before the world turned upside down 🅾️ Reflecting on My Basel Experience:🇨🇭🇨🇭 During my time in Basel, I was inspired by the vibrant culture of innovation at Novartis I remember attending a workshop where we brainstormed ideas that could reshape our HR strategies. That moment solidified my belief that HR can be a catalyst for change, driving both engagement and performance. The connections I made and the insights I gained ignited a passion within me to elevate the HR function as a strategic partner. We often read about and are inspired by unique leadership achievements, organizational excellence, and flawless operational execution. All things to strive for, but not always the reality. Life in business, as in general, is not paved with easy solutions and one recipe for success. Hard choices are often required, dilemmas constantly surfacing, and difficult conversations necessary. So, despite all good intentions, with investment in strategic plans and strong organizational support, positive outcomes are not guaranteed and do not come without sacrifices. Six months ago, I took over as the head of our newly established service center in Mexico City. A truly exciting challenge to support further globalization and sustainable growth of Novo Nordisk. It offers endless opportunities to drive operational excellence, talent development, and global business integration. Today we are more than 100 employees, with great energy and high ambitions. But I cannot claim that we got here without challenges. Starting a new business is not a simple effort, even in a company that recently celebrated its 100th anniversary. Many things were implemented too fast, too fragile and without full understanding of the context. Perhaps we didn’t ask a simple question often enough— “are we ready to move to the next stage”? Ultimately, we found a need to hit pause and revisit the basics, to build a foundation that can support long-term success. Revisiting the basics led to changes, some of which negatively impacted internal and external first-movers. While this is regrettable, we also need to recognize that sub-optimal decisions do not age well. Mistakes are painful, but learnings are precious, especially when rooted in collaboration, patience, understanding, and transparency. On the back of this, I’d be remiss to not recognize all who have contributed to this project, from our first employees to our first internal customers. This is what encourages me most – our people. To do what we do, we rely on the talent, passion, and diversity of our employees. We depend on the multitude of personal experiences, perspective, and backgrounds, that show up to work every day. In the end, I am very encouraged about our future and believe that together we will create something lasting and meaningful. Something that contributes to Novo Nordisk driving change to defeat serious chronic diseases. And I hope many more people will join us on this endeavor. From personal experience, I can attest that Novo Nordisk offers life-changing opportunities, within and through the organization. Our Mexico City service center is here to stay, and we look forward to the next chapter of the project, to be written by our wonderful team, rooted in our strong company values.

Last month, #Novartis Lithuania held a productive event called the "2024 Year of Opportunities".   · We kicked off the morning with fun ice breaker activities, creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere that fostered teamwork and communication among the participants. · Afterwards, Daniel Jesser Buigues, the Business Head of Novartis Lithuania along with other leaders, shared our company‘s ambitious goals. We then divided into groups and engaged in multiple workshops to strategize and brainstorm ideas on how to achieve these objectives. Endorsed by everyone in the company, we created a vision that reflects our aspirations and ambitions:   „TO BECOME THE MOST INNOVATIVE, ATTRACTIVE, TRUSTED, AND IMPACTFUL PARTNER IN THE HEALTHCARE ECOSYSTEM, WHILE SHAPING THE MARKET TOWARDS IMPROVED PATIENT OUTCOMES IN LITHUANIA.“ 🚀💼🤝   · Additionally, we emphasized three main pillars: #innovation, #talent, and #performance. Another week, another group of meetings. This time I was back in the CEE region getting together with our colleagues in Prague, Warsaw and Budapest. I’m really happy that with my position of South East Europe head I got a chance to cooperate again with the teams from the region I used to lead. Main focus was put on changes that occurred in the past two years that reflected on our ways of working & our strategies on the markets. We used this opportunity to jump into meaningful discussions, where we got to celebrate our recent achievements, dissected our challenges, and our plans. It is important to mention that CEE is a key #OTC and #Sudocrem market. Collectively we explored innovative strategies aimed at serving our patients with even greater care and efficiency. We dove deep into brainstorming sessions about the further implementation of our Pivot to growth strategy, exchanging insights, and nurturing a culture of continuous improvement. The diversity of perspectives and expertise brought to the table was great for fueling our journey towards excellence. It's been almost a month since my last active day A1 Telekom Austria Group, and I've been taking time to reflect on the legacy I've left behind and the lessons I'll carry forward into my next career move.   During my nine years at A1 Telekom Austria group, I'm thankful and proud of the achievements we've accomplished together: 💠  Drove the merger of three major entities across A1 Slovenija d.d. and A1 Srbija d.o.o. into one cohesive organizational unit, establishing an aligned "look and feel". 💠Led the development of group-aligned guiding principles and values, laying the foundation for employer branding alignment and initiatives. 💠Implemented a coaching and positive culture within the Slovenia & Serbia cluster, leading to being named 'Best employer' in both countries. 💠 Rebranded Simobil and Amis companies into A1 Slovenija in 2017 and Vip mobile to A1 Srbija in 2021 💠Established a robust Learning & Development framework, resulting in over 50 learning hours per employee in Slovenia and significant improvement in Serbia. 💠Initiated agile transformation in A1 Slovenia, with nearly 20% of employees now working in permanent agile teams. 💠Introduced OKR setting processes to enhance focus, collaboration, transparency, and employee engagement. 💠Spearheaded sustainability efforts, positioning A1 group as frontrunners in ESG initiatives.   In these 9 years I built a community of colleagues who, through time, challenges and successes, became more than colleagues, some even friends for life 💗🍀!   To me, a job is more than just work. It's about connecting with others: aligning with purpose, sharing trust and working with passion and optimism. When we truly connect with others, we create value for everyone involved. These values guide me in what I give and what I seek in return—a shared passion for meaningful work.   I eagerly look forward to new career opportunities to make a meaningful impact in my future endeavors!

I just wrapped up an incredible 5-year adventure at Takeda. I feel so blessed for the teams I had the privilege and honor to lead. It was truly an unforgettable experience and the most productive 5 years I had in my entire career. While I am leaving Takeda, I know the friendships and relationships forged over the last five years will endure. I was truly fortunate to work alongside incredibly talented colleagues who taught me so much, provided incredible joy and friendship, shared invaluable feedback, and inspired me to give my best every day. During my tenure, I had the privilege to lead some of the most talented and committed individual and teams of my career. We were also supported by exceptional partners. Together, we defined and implemented Data and Digital Transformation strategies for the various Global Corporate Functions. Technology platforms such as Workday, Workhuman and SuccessFactors were implemented globally. Launched a newly designed Takeda.com site and defined an ambitious strategy for People Analytics and deployed a well-being survey followed by annual employee experience surveys. Upgraded in-office technology (conference & board rooms). All while concurrently reimagining end to end global processes and significantly improving the stability and reliability of technology platforms. Most recently embarked on a visionary Digital Dexterity program fostering curiosity to radically enhance Takeda’s workforce ability and ambition to adopt emerging technologies. A conversation with Lisa Bodell made me reflect on my time at Takeda as she asked why were my teams so productive these past 5 years? It is always helpful to work for a company with an inspiring purpose and guided by strong values. Second, I learned from Jon Couture to hire people smarter than myself. Having exceptional talent is fundamental. Third, during the pandemic, I fine-tuned my leadership style and was more authentic, vulnerable, and sharpened my three leadership Ts – Trust, Truth, and Transparency. I established an environment where teams felt empowered, inspired, and psychologically safe to challenge openly. My approach was to set a vision, remove obstacles, and genuinely care for my team as human beings not just as professionals. I wanted us to succeed as a team. And I define team not based on reporting hierarchy but on who is working together to achieve a common goal. As I step away, I am taking time to refuel, focus on myself, and spend quality time with my family and friends before embarking on my next adventure. I am genuinely excited about the possibilities ahead. My next challenge will be to find a way to scale my transformational and people leadership experience. I have also been energized watching Emerson Foster's impact on the community. My sincere thanks to everyone who was part of this journey. Here’s to the future and all the exciting adventures it holds! Stay tuned on what comes next! For now, I can share I am absolutely enjoying the present.
