When we think about the future of the health tech investment landscape, it's important to recognize we are still in the early innings; we didn't see significant health tech investment until 2019, when the sector reached 10% of overall VC funding. As the next IPO window opens up, we're going to see a greater level of maturity among companies compared to the last few years. Thanks to Gabriel Perna for sharing my take in Modern Healthcare.

If you will be at Aspen Ideas, let me know as I would love to see you! In a sea of promising, potentially live-saving ideas and inspiring founders, how do we decide where to invest in this complex space? At General Catalyst, our #healthassurance thesis to create a proactive, affordable, and equitable system of care is our north star. Hope to see you at the “Venture Capital Places Its Bets” panel on June 21st where we’ll discuss more.
