Until January, we’ll be collaborating with two student groups from Aalborg University’s MSc in Management Engineering program. Each group will work on a different project, and we can’t wait to have them on board. 🚀 ⚪ Group 1 will analyze our current LS hardware installation process. Using both existing tools and those still in development, they will explore opportunities to optimize the installation process design, with a particular focus on the end users' perspectives. ⚪ Group 2 will investigate the benefits RFID technology can bring to digital product passports and how it can add value to supply chain companies. We’re excited to see the fresh perspectives and ideas these future engineers will bring to the table. #Engineering #SupplyChain #AAU

As I stand reading this post from Fraunhofer IPK Project Office for Advanced Manufacturing at ITA, I find myself reflecting on the incredible journey that has led me where I am. It’s been a whirlwind of growth, learning, and relentless pursuit of excellence in the field of mechanical engineering. 2018: My professional odyssey commenced at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology IPK in Berlin, serving as the proving ground for my early career as an Assistant Project Manager. This position transcended a mere internship; it established the bedrock of my professional principles. 2019: I dove deeper into the world of precision engineering at the Precision Engineering Laboratory - LMP/EMC/UFSC, where my Master’s project in Advanced Manufacturing not only challenged my technical skills but also expanded my vision for what’s possible in our field. 2020: With a spirit of entrepreneurship, I founded redtry, my first startup. Here, I merged mechanical project expertise with the innovative realm of 3D printing, pushing the boundaries of traditional manufacturing. 2022: At CLW Estruturas Metálicas , I embraced the role of Production and Quality Engineer, ensuring that excellence in design translated into excellence in execution. 2023: My journey took me to Premer Brazil, where as a Mechanical Research and Development Engineer, I contributed to pioneering projects that are shaping the future of our industry. 2024: Now, I’ve come full circle, returning to Germany as a seasoned professional. At Magnetic Autocontrol GmbH in Schopfheim, I am proud to take on the mantle of Mechanical Design and Development Engineer. This journey has been nothing short of extraordinary, and I am grateful for every experience that has contributed to my growth. Here’s to the next chapter, where I continue to contribute, innovate, and inspire in the realm of mechanical engineering. #ProfessionalGrowth #EngineeringCareer #MechanicalEngineering #Innovation #Leadership

🚀 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗼𝗻𝗲! Last 16th October, I defended my Final Degree Thesis, thus concluding my stage in Industrial Technologies Engineering and starting a new chapter in the Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering. My thesis was aimed at developing a state-of-the-art Battery Management System for the UPC ecoRacing team, specifically designed for the single-seater of the 2025 season. This new BMS introduces important technological innovations that reinforce its safety, reliability and efficiency, responding to the demanding requirements of Formula Student Germany. Some of the most notable developments include: ● 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗠𝗨𝘀: For the first time, an AFE (Analog Front End) that complies with ASIL D functional safety standards has been incorporated, significantly improving the monitoring and control of each cell. ● 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗶𝘁𝘀 This technology, which is new to the team, makes connections for temperature and voltage monitoring of each cell safer, lighter, and more reliable. ● 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Thanks to these changes to the CMUs and the use of FPCs, we have achieved a reduction of up to 85% in the total cost of the BMS system, optimising both the design and implementation of critical components. The design has been validated with excellent results, exceeding initial expectations in system performance and stability. This guarantees the necessary robustness and reliability for its implementation in the single-seater, complying with all the standards and requirements of the competition. This project has been one of the biggest technical challenges of my career, with multiple phases of design, simulation and testing to ensure compliance with performance and safety standards. I am deeply grateful for the support of my tutor Juan Antonio Ortega Redondo, my mentor Oriol Contreras and the UPC ecoRacing team, who have been a constant source of learning and inspiration. I also thank my family and friends, who have been by my side every step of the way. With this technical base and the experience gained, I am ready to continue innovating in the field of electric mobility and contribute to the development of sustainable and safe technologies. 🔋🌍 #UPCecoRacing #FormulaStudent #Engineering #SustainableMobility #BMS #FunctionalSafety #Technology #Innovation
