Ask five CEO’s about the future of retail and their answers will be as diverse as the responses in this article. The concept of retailtainment has been tossed around for quite sometime and I have mixed feelings about this. I didn’t see any retail entertainment except for a sneaker store where you could customize the sneaker with prints and your initials. Pop ups here and there mostly I saw people shopping and checking out. I just returned from Europe visiting Barcelona Nice Florence and Rome. What I did see what streamlined checkout with self check out the norm where you dump your clothing into the bin and remove the security tags yourself. There is still staff sparingly. I agree with the observation that flagship stores continue to be important versus c and d locations. Measuring the combined value of online and offline sales will dictate real estate negotiations. The importance of online social channels for shopping will continue to grow in importance as seen by the explosion of TikTok shop #retail #retailing #trends #retailpredictions

Studies have consistently revealed that customers often follow an unconscious triangular pattern when navigating a store. This pattern typically involves entering from the front-right corner, moving towards the back of the store, and then veering left towards the exit. By strategically placing gondolas and displays to guide customers along this natural path, retailers can significantly increase browsing time and ultimately, boost sales. This tactic encourages customers to explore more of the store, encounter a wider range of products, and make impulse purchases. #retail #retailbiz #retailauction #retailproblems #retailworkers #retaillife #retailstores #stores #sales www.yrs.ae
