CRAFTING INTELLIGENT PLATFORM: Embracing Diverse Perspectives 🔍 ITHACA project goal is to tailor-made a useful online platform to communicate with regional authorities. That is why we have dived deep into platform requirements. It was a journey of diverse perspectives! 🌟 Taking a multi-faceted approach, we already held separate workshops for citizens, municipality workers, and technical experts to ensure tailored insights. Each group brought unique perspectives and priorities to the table:  👥 Citizens highlighted usability and fun. 💪Workers focused on administrative needs.  📲 AI specialists and ethical advocates enriched discussions with domain-specific insights, considering factors like impact and ethics. It examines major digitalization trends 📊, focusing on AI usage, and the overall perception of digitalization. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 ❓ ▶️ Nearly 30% of Polish real estate workers already use AI, with 38% of daily users. ▶️The most active users are those under 30 years old (40%) and senior and top management. ▶️60% of professionals across all three markets want to learn how to use AI in their workplace. ▶️Barriers to AI adoption in Poland include insufficient knowledge of tools (26%), inadequate training (18%), lack of trust (17%), and lack of time (14%). ▶️On the positive side, only 6% of workers across all three countries stated that they did not understand AI, and only 4% reported poor experiences with it. ▶️Over 50% of Polish real estate workers say their companies don't promote AI activities or inform staff about them. The most common promotion methods are through participation in industry-specific events (14%), employee training, incentive systems for innovative projects, and cooperation with start-ups (all 11%). Colliers recently published a CRE Strategy benchmarking report, spanning 85 leaders across 8 industry sectors. I've pulled out a few takeaways below. (spoiler alert: AI and technology are top-of-mind!) --- 1°) AI in CRE 31% of occupiers see AI as pivotal in transforming their CRE functions. This percentage increases to 47% of respondents when filtering for companies with 500+ locations. 2°) Flex/Coworking Growth Nearly 40% of occupiers expect an increase in flexible and coworking solutions, reflecting the shift towards hybrid work models and greater portfolio elasticity. 3°) Technology as a Catalyst Over half of occupiers view CRE technology upgrades as a key opportunity to innovate and enhance value. --- Shoutout to Scott Nelson, Chris Zlocki, Andrew Hallissey and Mike Davis from Colliers for putting it together!
