Recycling Week (21-27 October) is an annual initiative to raise awareness and educate New Zealand on best practice for waste minimisation and recycling.♻️ It's awesome to see so many businesses and organisations getting behind this campaign and encouraging all of us to think about how we can handle waste more responsibly. At Junk2Go Limited we strive to do our best to reduce the amount of waste that might otherwise have gone to landfill. At our depot we have a dedicated team who separate the rubbish and junk we collect into various waste streams for recycling including: ✅ paper and cardboard ✅ wood ✅ hardfill ✅ metal ✅ e-waste ✅ polystyrene We also sort and store items that we collect that are able to be reused e.g. furniture, beds, appliances, stationery, books, clothing, toys, sporting goods etc. We then work with our charity partners to donate these items, at no cost, to those in need. We call this "Junk2Go Turning Junk2Good". 💚 #recyclingweek #circulareconomy #sustainability #wasteminimisation
