I attended a seminar held at the Yasuda Auditorium of the University of Tokyo🏫 This iconic building, representing the university, features a Gothic-inspired design that emphasizes verticality. The interior is equally charming and attractive.   The seminar’s theme was “Lifelong Learning.” Having recently learned about employee education the day before, I reflected on what individuals should continue learning beyond creating value in workplaces. I’ve personally felt the overwhelming lack of learning opportunities since entering society and have experienced the challenges of learning. Fortunately, there is a growing emphasis on reskilling in national policies, and I hope the environment will continue to improve.   Learning involves both receiving and sharing. Exploring new domains can transform a person’s mindset. The attitude of continuous learning requires "determination", not just "motivation" or "enthusiasm". Their students take part in "shokuba taiken" (workplace experience) programs, where they visit factories and real job sites. 🏭 There, they can observe real workflows, participate in hands-on tasks, and understand the true value of work. This helps them connect classroom lessons with the real world and develop a strong work ethic. 🛠️ ✅ More practical experience – Students get a real taste of how the working world operates. ✅ Early career orientation – They find out what they want to do from a young age. ✅ Stronger work ethic – Learning the importance of every job and the value of hard work. ✅ Link between theory and practice – Education becomes more relevant and impactful. How would you dive into the world of science if you're currently a high school student? Well, this is at least something that we can do ⬇️ Over ten Serbian high schools recently visited Nordeus, where we engaged in engaging discussions on leveraging platforms like #TikTok to promote science, technology, engineering, art, math, entrepreneurship, and especially the Makers Lab concept - those dynamic spaces in their schools where science and magic come together.  🧪 🔬 🧫 🧬 It's not easy to walk in their shoes today, and narrowing down interests to choose the right (scientific) career path can be challenging. That's why it's our responsibility, at the very least, to share knowledge with young talents and assist them in reaching their goals by offering all the technological and marketing insights available. This is an excellent strategy for fostering industrial professionalism from a young age. If we in Oman are serious about industrialization, we should consider integrating lean concepts and best industrial practices into our educational curriculum, even at the middle school level.
