We won an award! 🏆 The narrator is a key component to successful behavior change campaigns. Which is why partnerships can be so effective, delivering messages through a voice that the audience already trusts. The Sun may seem like another unlikely partner for an environmental charity, but that’s precisely why they worked. The newspaper’s readership over indexes for our core audience and is able to effectively reach the people we need to convince to change their behavior. Developing engaging content was the fun bit, and over the summer we seeded the paper with a mixture of disruptive ads and engaging stories that delivered our messaging, but still felt authentic to the paper’s own town of voice. A special thank you in particular to our litter picking hero, Jason Alexander who climbed to the top of Snowden with News UK to show the prolific nature of litter, infiltrating even the most remote and beautiful of areas 💔🏔️ We are thrilled to have won Newsworks Partnership award, big thank you to all involved and a shout out to the Wavemaker UK team for making it happen!
