Ways how a good SAT score can help you get into your dream college ET Online| Feb 16, 2024, 04:39:59 PM IST 1/5 Chance of scholarship: Students who achieve high SAT scores may be eligible for financial aid and scholarships. When giving out financial aid, institutions and outside scholarship providers frequently take SAT scores into account. 2/5 Criteria for admission The SAT is a major factor in many colleges' and universities' admissions decisions. Increased scores can bolster an applicant's academic record and show that they are prepared for work at a college level. 3/5 Eligibility: The minimum SAT score required for admission to some programmes or colleges may vary. Should a candidate meet or exceed these benchmarks, they may be qualified for admission to selective programmes. 4/5 Comparative analysis The SAT score offers a uniform measure for evaluating applicants from various high schools. This aids in the evaluation of students' academic readiness by admissions officers from different educational backgrounds. 5/5 A strong SAT performance can still improve an application. Focus On Learning is offering a 20 Hour ACT Prep Class for students signed up for the upcoming September 14th Test Date. This a great opportunity, especially for Juniors, to take the test and see how they do! There are two excellent reasons for students to register for our Prep Class: 1. They can establish a baseline score and set a goal score to reach by continuing to practice to take the test again. Note that most Juniors try to earn their goal score before or on the April 2025 test. 2. Students have the opportunity to order a Test Information Release report for the September 2024 ACT test, which can give specific feedback on the content they struggled with. Then, students can focus on those topics if they come up during their regular coursework within the school year, or contact us at Focus On Learning Center (https://lnkd.in/gcdpsGvg) and schedule one-on-one tutoring sessions to review those topics before taking the ACT test again. We look forward to hearing from you if you have questions or concerns! Knowledge is power, and earning better Standardized Test Scores opens doors for College and Career Readiness!!
