And... just like that its over! It's been a whirlwind two weeks taking part in the Digital Marketing Growth Programme with Girls in Marketing. I can't thank them enough for accepting me onto the programme and letting me be apart of this amazing opportunity. Over the course we have covered sessions on: - Analysing data and the customer journey - Email marketing strategies - Content auditing and reporting - SEO insights - Storytelling techniques - Upskilling and showcasing skills - Navigating stakeholder dynamics The programme has been an eye opener to the wealth of skills required as a marketer today. It has allowed me to up-skill in various areas and network with like-minded individuals. I would recommend the course to anyone working in marketing to develop their career and knowledge. Choosing 3 takeaways from the programme has been tough to decide as there were so many. But, here are the three I have gone with. 1. Have confidence in your own ability, it will take you far. 2. Managing budgets is never easy and a lot of marketers struggle with this, you're not alone. 3. Building a community, networking and understanding customer relationships is important for personal and business growth. So after a busy two weeks of learning. I'm hoping for the sun to keep shining as we head into the weekend so I can relax and celebrate my hard work. Congratulations to my fellow marketers on the programme, you have been amazing and it's been wonderful to network with so many of you.
