Do you feel #distracted and your attention pulled in different directions all the time? 💡If so, you’re not alone. The world today is designed to grab your attention and take you out of your focus zone. And the topic is something I’ve been passionate about for the past year and a half. 😎In Summer of 2023, I listened to Brene Brown’s Dare to Lead podcast featuring Dr Amishi Jha about Finding Focus and Owning Your Attention https://lnkd.in/gJBcNMAc 📚I went on to read Dr Jha’s book Peak Mind: Find Your Focus, Own Your Attention in Just 12 minutes a day which provides a practical guide to training your brain to focus by doing a short meditation every day. Such a powerful way to fight back against your daily distractions. 🤺 I have been listening to the Calm App’s Daily Trip meditation about 4 times a week for the past two years. Through intention and practice, I am slowly rebuilding my focus and attention and it feels so good. But you know what? It’s something I have to continue to work on and counterbalance life’s daily distractions. 🏋️♀️How are you training your brain and attention? Are you watching 10 second videos? Can’t live without your phone? Unsure how to break the cycle? I highly recommend listening to or reading Dr Jha talk about her research.

Saying “no” can feel overwhelmingly hard, especially when we're operating in survival mode. Fear of rejection, letting others down, or risking a relationship often stops us from establishing the boundaries we truly need. But here’s the reality: saying no doesn’t have to be seen as negative. It can be a powerful expression of self-respect and even a form of care for those around us. With an Attentionist perspective, we can redefine “no” as a choice that supports both our well-being and healthy connections, making it a positive and empowering action. I invite you to take part of my course “Saying Yes to NO: Setting Mindful Boundaries”, where you can learn about boundaries and living a conscious life: https://lnkd.in/gPgJrhFu Join me in this journey towards empowered and mindful living. 🌱 If you want to know more about this topic, listen to this short podcast: https://lnkd.in/gvCWHdzS #mindfulness #attentionism #concious #mindfulliving #selfcare #innerpeace #selflove #gratitude #mitramanesh #meditation #attention

𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝𝙡𝙮 𝙘𝙮𝙘𝙡𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 Do you wake up some days and feel ready to change the world and other days you feel you've had to drag yourself out of bed? Most of us will answer yes, yet we don't always understand why. Instead, we're hard on ourselves and feel we need to perform in the same way everyday. Consistency, accountability and productivity being buzz words that have taken over our lives There's a perfectly good explanation to all of this. It lies within the power of our monthly cycle and how it guides us to focus on different activities during the various seasons When we honour the current season, our energy is right for the week to follow. The wisdom within the seasons extends to annual cycles and life cycles That was the topic of the Whispers of the Soul podcast episode some time back but I wanted to bring focus to it again as the topic is more pertinent than ever. I was interviewed by the lovely Sibby and Sally to talk about how women can connect with the seasons of their monthly cycle and why this is so important to feeling more in control of our lives. Check our the link and I'd love to hear your feedback and also how you might adapt your lifestyle accordingly https://lnkd.in/ecezxPDR #spatraining #massagetraining #holistictherapytraining #wombhealth #femalehealth
