It is easy to feel like life just happens to us. Sometimes it feels like we’re at the mercy of other people's actions or circumstances (especially in this economy and political season) BUT “victim mentality” keeps us focused on what is WRONG and who’s to BLAME. When we do this we are viewing ourselves as the "passenger" in our own life. Take the wheel my friend. Don't lose out on chances to grow, learn, and steer your own path. ✨Instead of asking, “Why is this happening to me?” try “What can I do with this?” It’s a shift that takes courage, but it opens the door to real change. #MindsetMatters #GrowthMindset #TakeControl #Leadership #Coaching #Learning
Absolutely! Loren Sanders, MBA, ACC,PHR,SCP,CPM, CPTM Taking control of our narrative is empowering. By shifting our focus from blame to action, we open doors to growth and opportunities.
Have a growth mindset instead of a victim mentality. People who have growth mindset only focus on the positive side and blame themselves so they will learn and get better in the next time. Loren Sanders, MBA, ACC,PHR,SCP,CPM, CPTM
Love this one Loren Sanders, MBA, ACC,PHR,SCP,CPM, CPTM Having an internal locust of control is the key to owning one’s journey.

1moThis can be difficult for many people as a function of their upbringing. I had expectations from my parents which I nearly always met. When I realized, at age 19, that what I wanted was different - I struggled. It took about a year for me to find my path and get comfortable with the fact that I'm an adult and need to follow my own path - even though my father wouldn't like my decision. It worked out great. We are all different and need to follow our unique strengths and desires.
