Have you ever wondered how some applications, like Airflow and MLflow, manage long-running tasks? The same question intrigued me when I explored RAGflow. I then delved into its codebase and discovered that RAGflow’s server process spawns multiple worker executors to run the actual tasks in the background. These workers communicate the task progress back to the server using Redis as a messenger. The frontend UI periodically refreshes to keep users updated on the task’s status. To better illustrate this design, I created a mini demo with FastAPI and Vue. 👉 https://lnkd.in/g-GDpxaJ Check out my post too if you'd like to have some more explanations. 👉 https://lnkd.in/gtAzkMJq #RAGFlow #WebApp

I wrote an article about how you can utilize wildcard domains and their potential to unleash dynamic, user-centric, multi-sass platforms, I explore how wildcard subdomains can revolutionize your projects using modern tech stacks ( Bun, Cloudflare, Hono, drizzle, fly, elysia, docker, neon, gaciton ) and you can use whatever you love. btw I love arch. 🔗 Read Article:

MakoLab is changing the puzzle creation game 💫 We took on the challenge of modernising puzzle production for Puzzler Media Ltd , a collaboration we’re proud to share. Using .NET, SQL Server, AWS, Vue.js and OpenAI, we enabled the company to generate, customise and distribute unique puzzles independently, without relying on external vendors. The result? A highly flexible system that supports both business growth and resource management. I am not sure of the current writing flow I designed for oneblog.dev I was using Medium as a reference. But this approach results in a slight flicker and potential bugs. But if I refactor to a query params approach then it is going to be a lot of mess in the codebase. What do you folks think? #design #urls #webdev #userflow
