Twenty nine years celebrating my fashion design business, Liz Mitchell. When I took my first lease at the T and G building, in Elliott Street, Auckland City, I made a ten year commitment and that was felt scary. Over so many years I have had the privilege of dressing so many clients for special occasions and every day life. Amazing highlights and challenges. A wonderful team of artisan creators and craftsmanship have helped fulfil my vision. Textiles, tailoring, design, and unique bespoke couture have been our signature. Today our future needs to address the issues of sustainability and reimagining New Zealand wool to be a leading fibre, healing our broken planet.
