What an incredible evening at the Women in Tech event in London, hosted by AND Digital! Lauren Hine set the stage beautifully with an inspiring introduction, leading us into a powerful presentation by Antonia Walt, who shared insights from the new Rewards & Resilience report. This report dives deep into the realities of being a woman leader in tech—balancing both the rewards and the resilience required to thrive. Following the report, Lauren hosted a thought-provoking panel discussion with three truly inspiring ladies, sparking meaningful conversations around inclusivity, mentorship, and the steps we all need to take to create a truly equitable tech industry. 💼💡 I was also fortunate to spend time connecting with Rebecca Krief, enjoying the stunning views over London 🌆whilst we talked about the power of data. And not forgetting a big thank you to Arjun Mahajan for the invitation, it was so great to see you!🙏 Some key takeaways from the report: • Only 1 in 5 women transition into tech after starting elsewhere, highlighting the importance of early support for women entering the field. 👩💻 • Nearly 80% of women leaders face significant challenges on their journey, proving the value of resilience in our careers. 💪✨ • 90% have experienced gender bias, with over 60% encountering it more than once—a reminder of the work still to be done to create fair and supportive environments for all. 🛠️ It’s inspiring to see so many committed to driving change, but there’s still a journey ahead.
