Unless major interventions are made BITRE modelling has a 20% increase by 2030. When ‘driver error’ is the major cause of fatalities, more needs to be done with better education & training. Road safety is about a decade behind in the uptake of technology to address/ assist. We have the technology myDRIVESCHOOL®
We are facing a critical moment in road safety. Road fatalities have risen for the third consecutive year, with a nearly 8% increase last year alone. Almost two-thirds of New South Wales drivers admit to dangerous behaviour. Every choice has a direct impact, and it's time we all take personal responsibility to protect lives. #ChooseRoadSafety #bethechange #FatalityFreeFuture

Drivers are too busy watching their speed and dodging road hazards to concentrate on actually driving their car safely. Government now need fine money to help balance their books, which is totally wrong, never use to be part of the budget planning.
Human error is always a consequence of other contributing factors, such as inadequate training, testing, environmental and other factors. Better driver training and education is a great start!
Education is absolutely the key. A driving test once in your life and then you’re set forever….. ridiculous. Re test and re-educate is the key. NOT speed cameras in 40km zones !
