As a HIRING Manager if I REJECT a #candidate. These are the 3 things I would do to not hurt their chances of getting another JOB: 1. Tell the recruiter all the strong points I saw in the candidate. 2. Provide the candidate with feedback on how they can improve. 3. Recommend them to my network for any suitable vacancies. Put yourself in the #candidates' shoes. We all at one point were #jobseekers, and it doesn't take much for anyone of us to be a jobseeker again. A little empathy and respect goes a long way. Let's make the #recruiting process more human.

It is also requested to all the Hiring Managers to promote healthy feedback policies or a clear piece of statement to the candidates. Like: - If you think the candidate does not meet your expectations for the post or company then tell him or her directly about that. Do not give false hope of evanescence. - If you are letting the candidates to reveal their salary expectations please ensure that you can deal with it in a healthy way. If it is going out from your deep pockets then please let them know about it clearly. It would trigger abysmal impressions if you reject a candidate over minor miscommunication issues. Promote clear communication 🙏 #candidates #jobseekers #recruiting

After an extended period of searching for full-time employment, I can relate strongly to this. Many candidates experience the frustration of being left in uncertainty after an interview, which can impact their confidence. A simple email, when a call may not be feasible, can go a long way. Providing feedback on why a candidate wasn’t selected and offering guidance on areas for improvement would greatly enhance the candidate experience and help build a positive employer reputation.
