Co-Head of Global Banking Coverage, HSBC

I am deeply honored to be appointed as HSBC’s United States CEO, effective January 1, 2025. In this role, I will oversee all U.S. operations and lead the expansion of our newly integrated Corporate and Institutional Banking business in North America. Under Michael Roberts’ exceptional leadership, our U.S. franchise has thrived, delivering outstanding results for our clients and reinforcing its pivotal role in HSBC’s global strategy. I am eager to collaborate with our talented team to enhance our position as a super-connector between the U.S. and the global market, providing even greater value to our clients. I want to extend a heartfelt gratitude to my colleagues in Global Banking Coverage. Serving as your Co-Head alongside Gerry Keefe has been a privilege. I deeply appreciate your passion, dedication, and expertise in serving our clients and colleagues worldwide, and look forward to our ongoing partnership in our new structure. On a personal note, this new chapter brings me back home to the U.S., where my family is grateful to have me return. This past Thanksgiving, we cherished being together in the U.S., and I look forward to many more family dinners. I was fortunate to be at our beautiful Hudson Yards office today, meeting new colleagues and participating in an all-employee town hall with Michael. The warm welcome has made this homecoming truly special, and I am excited to continuing engaging with employees, clients, and key partners beginning January 1st!
