🐉Tattoos in the Workplace 🧜🏻♀️ Tattoos can be a powerful form of self-expression, holding deep personal meaning or simply serving as a creative outlet. However, despite their growing popularity, I often wonder how tattoos are perceived in professional settings. As someone intrigued by hiring and workplace culture, I know perceptions around tattoos vary significantly depending on company values, the industry, and the general cultural mindset. While some workplaces embrace individuality and see tattoos as part of a person's unique personality, others may still view them with hesitation, linking them (consciously or unconsciously) to professionalism. So, I’m curious – have tattoos influenced hiring processes in your experience? If you're someone with tattoos or on the hiring side. Have you encountered workplaces where tattoos are a non-issue, or have you seen them impact career advancement? Let’s open the conversation about perceptions and inclusivity in modern workplaces. #TattoosInTheWorkplace #CompanyCulture #Hiring

Ever wondered what it really takes to succeed as a celebrity assistant or in the world of ultra high net worth clients? One of the keys is adaptability—here's a story from our Founder, Kirsten Fargotstein, from her early career days working for an actress. 💼✨ "When I was working as a celebrity assistant early in my career, I received a call at 10pm on a Friday (p.s. I was not home but out with friends having drinks at the time). My client’s flight had been delayed, they had an important press junket the next morning, and their entire wardrobe was still sitting in a suitcase somewhere in transit. Panic could’ve set in, but instead, I went into solution mode. Within a couple of hours, I had coordinated with my client's stylist (who was on the opposite coast), we sourced a backup outfit from a designer showroom, and arranged for a same-day tailor. By the next morning, my client was camera ready, none the wiser to the chaos behind the scenes. That experience taught me something invaluable: Adaptability isn’t just about solving problems—it’s about staying calm, resourceful, and always a step ahead. As a celebrity or UHNW assistant, you rarely have the luxury of predictability. Every day brings new challenges, but those moments are also opportunities to prove your value and build trust. What’s one time adaptability saved the day for you in your role? Share in the comments—we’d love to hear your stories! #CelebrityAssistant #PersonalAssistant #AdaptabilityIsKey #KollectiveSociety #CareerGrowth #PersonalStory

A couple of months ago I received a message from Dior, sharing their plans of arranging external speakers to come in and deliver sessions for their team. It was on the theme of well-being week and they asked whether I'd be interested in delivering a session to their team about highlighting the importance of taking time for yourself, AKA #memoments - my heart fell out of my mouth! My natural instinct was to pass this opportunity on to my partner, firstly because it was on his vision board to deliver more talks this year but deep down, I think it's also because it's all I've ever known in my career - to support and connect others. I've written posts previously around the behaviours and habits of individuals in support function roles; we sit in the shadows, we're fixers, doers, but don't often think of ourselves as front centre stagers. After trying to pass this opportunity on to Kieran McMahon and him batting it straight back to me, telling me that terrified feeling I had was a good thing and was every reason why I should say yes to the opportunity. So I replied with my interest. Luckily for me, the group we hosted was small and the added bonus, it was virtual! A perfect introduction to holding my nerve for something I was genuinely terrified of but once I got started, I absolutely loved it, because I was talking about something I truly believed in and cared about. Not every opportunity that's crosses your path is going to be on your vision board or a goal you'd set for yourself and they won't all be easy to say yes to. These opportunities might just be the ones that help you stumble upon a new passion or thing you want to pursue, that you never would have sought out for yourself. #Dior #wellbeing #career

#TattoosAtWork #WorkplaceCulture #TattooPolicies So, here's a thought: why are tattoos still a touchy subject in the workplace? 🤔 I recently came across a job listing that explicitly stated "no visible tattoos." In a world where places like Disney—once known for their strict policies—are now embracing body art, it makes you wonder if it's time for a change, right? Here's what I've been thinking: Changing Norms: If Disney can adapt, shouldn't other companies? It seems like a sign of the times when major players are loosening their restrictions. Subjectivity: Understandably, tattoos are quite personal. What might be offensive to one person could be a piece of art to another. 🤷♂️ Fair Concerns: Many people with tattoos find themselves navigating a lack of protection against discrimination simply because of body art. Career Flexibility: In 2024, having visible tattoos shouldn’t automatically put you at a disadvantage in your career path. Why should artistic expression be a de... Look at this confidence! I'm loving the attitude and personality here! Just because it's a corporate headshot doesn't mean it has to be bland. In fact, a bland headshot is a headshot failure. I want your spark and personality to shine through! . #headshotcrew #headshots #corporateheadshots #professionalheadshots

📌 ɪᴛ ɪꜱ ɴᴏᴛ ꜱɪᴍᴘʟᴇ ᴛᴏ ᴛʀᴀɴꜱɪᴛɪᴏɴ ᴀ ᴄᴀʀᴇᴇʀ ᴡɪᴛʜ ꜱᴋɪʟʟꜱ. 🌟 I am an intermediary between corporate efficiency and creative artistry in a world where attention to detail counts. My side hustle, which I am really passionate about, is makeup. In order to give executives and projects the best support possible, I plan and coordinate efficient operations in my capacity as executive assistant. As a makeup artist, however, I recognize the value of accuracy, originality, and presentation. 💡 People often ask me how I manage to combine two seemingly different careers, executive assistance and makeup artistry 😊, I was like it’s not thou easy but the passion I have for the two keeps me going. And What they don’t see is the common thread that runs through both, attention to detail, preparation, and a focus on the final look.🤩 😉 🌟Whether I am arranging schedules or blending colors, my goal is to ensure that each element is flawless and impactful. A well-organized calendar can set the tone for a successful day, just as a perfectly blended foundation does for a polished appearance. In both fields, I thrive on transforming chaos into beauty whether in the boardroom or behind the makeup chair. ❓ How do you balance your career with your side hustle without becoming overwhelmed? Please share your experience in the comments section. #Careertransition #Sidehustle #projectvibes #makeupartistry #20daylinkedinchallengewithhaoma
