📢 Exciting Insights from Zebra Technologies' Latest Manufacturing Vision Study! 🌐 Did you know only 1 in 6 manufacturers have a clear understanding of their own processes? Zebra Technologies Corp.'s new report highlights this surprising statistic, shedding light on the challenges and opportunities in the manufacturing sector. Key findings from the study include: ➡️ 61% of manufacturers expect AI to drive growth by 2029, a significant increase from 41% in 2024. ➡️ A whopping 92% of respondents prioritize digital transformation to enhance data management and improve visibility and quality throughout production. “Manufacturers struggle with using their data effectively. They recognize the need to adopt AI and other digital technologies to create an agile, efficient manufacturing environment,” said Enrique Herrera, Industry Principal for Manufacturing at Zebra Technologies. Despite the strategic priority placed on digital transformation, achieving a fully connected factory remains a challenge. Only 16% of manufacturing leaders report real-time work-in-progress monitoring across their entire manufacturing process. The study also revealed that: ➡️ 86% of leaders are struggling to keep pace with technological innovation and securely integrate devices and technologies throughout their facilities and supply chains. ➡️ Nearly three-quarters (73%) plan to reskill labor for data and technology usage, and seven in 10 expect to augment workers with mobility-enabling technology. Regional insights show varied priorities and implementations: ➡️ In APAC, 67% are planning to deploy machine vision within the next five years. ➡️ In EMEA, reskilling labor to enhance data and technology usage is a top priority. ➡️ In LATAM, 74% plan to implement track and trace technology. ➡️ In North America, 68% prioritize deploying workforce development programs. The path to digital transformation is challenging, but Zebra Technologies is committed to helping manufacturers overcome these hurdles with their portfolio of software, mobile robots, machine vision, automation, and digital decisioning solutions. By leveraging these technologies, manufacturers can boost visibility, optimize quality, and augment their workforce, paving the way for a more connected and efficient future. 🚀 Read more: https://lnkd.in/gswbgsMe
