🚀 The Backstory of Our Revival 🚀 When Andy was first funded, it started with high hopes and ambitious goals, only to face the harsh reality of bankruptcy. This period was challenging for our entire team, stakeholders and customers, both emotionally and financially. After digesting the bankruptcy, we decided to restart the business with the lessons learned. We didn't make any money over the last 12 months as we worked tirelessly to revive the company. We completely overhauled our business plan, focusing on convenience and removing the hassle of carrying and returning heavy crates. Our new plan has significantly reduced fixed costs, making our company much more financially stable. Despite countless moments of doubt, we pushed forward, reaching out to nearly 100 business angels and sending over 300 emails, facing numerous setbacks along the way. One of the turning points for us was the amazing feedback we received from a survey sent to 2,000 customers. An incredible 62% of our customers filled it in, with 99% expressing that they wanted to become customers again. Many even sent emails back, sharing how much they missed us and wanted us back in business. Their positive responses and encouragement gave us the energy and motivation to continue pushing forward. Today, we are thrilled to announce that a group of business angels have believed in our new concept and helped us secure the funding we needed. Their support and confidence have reignited our passion and determination. We are proud to relaunch this journey and bring our improved service to our valued customers. “It’s safe to enjoy the journey” It was quite a big leap for me to jump into starting my own business. I don’t come from an entrepreneurial background and, if I’m honest, I don't think it's something I would have even considered had it not been for my partner, Jesús, and his “dream big” MO and the inspiring stories about his grandparents starting their own successful clothing shop in Spain. On top of that, it hasn’t always been easy. It’s very much been a “figure it out as you go” in a lot of cases, and it’s been scary at times not knowing when the next project will come around and if it’ll be before the savings run out. So a major limiting belief that I’ve had to transform to do the business was around safety… the idea that having our own business isn’t safe. It’s risky. It’s volatile. It’s stressful. And yes, all of those things felt true, but in reality, we always had a roof over our heads, food on the table, and even a warm bath when we needed it. How is that not safe? ;) It’s all about perspective, hey! And when we transformed this deeper fear, the phrase that came up was “it’s safe to enjoy the journey.” It was a good reminder that it's okay, and it's safe, to take time out from the business too.
