We recently saw a Forrester study that said roughly a third of B2B and B2C marketers don't even measure ROI. 😬 Yikes. That percentage is a liiittle too high for our liking. It's important because it tells you the story of your marketing impact. So here are some tips for how to easily measure your marketing ROI without getting lost in the numbers. ➡

Do you agree with HubSpot's State of Marketing Report finding that: 74% of B2B marketing teams can turn data into insights? I struggle with this stat. Data is crucial to develop an effective marketing strategy, but I see a lot of teams struggle with simple web insights. A lot of operations teams that do focus on advanced analytics don't prioritize website stats at all. It's seen as a "non-revenue generating activity." 🤯 Am I alone here? Anyone else wonder if this stat is a symptom of overconfidence? #b2bmarketing #digitalmarketing #marketinganalytics

Place better bets in B2B marketing this year by plugging your data leaks. (here's how👇) Marketers struggle to build pipeline because their attribution data sucks. Do any of these sound familiar? 1) Departmental Silos Fighting for Credit: — Are they distorting your view of the buyer's journey? 2) Conversion Blindness: — Are you missing critical first or last-touch conversion triggers? 3)Attribution Drop-off: — Does your data trail go cold after the landing page? 4) UTM Confusion: — Is your UTM taxonomy causing more chaos than clarity? 5) Incomplete Contact Records: — Are gaps in your contact data leading to missed opportunities? Don't throw your marketing $$ against the wall and hope some of it sticks....
