In 2019, my skiing career ended with no intention of coming back. In April this year, I had knee-replacement surgery that has allowed me to return to skiing progression. Roger Federer once said to me “I squeezed every drop out of the lemon that I had. There was nothing left for me to give.” And I felt like I had done that in my career. I pushed myself as hard as I could. I feel like I have more juice in my lemon now. 🍋 https://lnkd.in/ey4cmbV8 📸 Rose Marie Cromwell
I'm impressed by the will you have. That was also the key to your success in 2019. It's a gift to have that bite, that's what characterises professional athletes. All successful managers have this skill too, the world is so full of opportunities. Today you don't have to prove anything, you're just riding for yourself. I wish you achieve your goal, you are happy and that is the most important thing.

This is awesome!! I of course never skied like you lol, but have been skiing my whole life and love it with all my heart. I thought I was done skiing until I got my knee replaced as well, it gave me back something I thought I couldn’t get! #fondrenorthopedicgroup
You’re a freaking Rock Star!! We can’t wait to see what you do in the coming year!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Squeeze every last drop that you need 🍋
Way to go, now make some lemonade. Enjoy the return.
Always a great idea to leave your options open and pivot/adjust if that’s what your passion calls for!
If Dr Steadman were still alive he would call you nuts for staging a comeback .I hope this is just a PR /Marketing stunt !

1moGood for you; my skiing career ended when a snowboarder hit me from behind, my tibia plateau was broken, and a concussion. I can’t take another blow like that, so the boarders win, and they take Grandpa off the slopes after 45 years at Kirkwood. Vail Resorts did nothing to try and catch the hit-and-run border and interviewed me after coming too from a concussion; how is that fair? There was no webcam on the slopes, and it was my mistake for not wearing my GoPro on my birthday. I was tracking with the Slopes App so I know where I was hit and when. Of course, if it happened to your Dad, justice would be served, such is life in America.
