Sai Inspires Dec 19, 2024 What is the purpose of meditation? How will it help every aspirant? Let us hear practical guidance from the Lord of Love in His loving and inspiring voice today. There are two roads to fulfilment, ‘Prartana and Dhyana (Prayer and Meditation)’. Prayer makes you a supplicant at the feet of God; Meditation induces God to come down to you and inspires you to raise yourselves to Him. It tends to make you come together, not place one on a lower level and the other on a higher. Dhyana is the royal road to liberation from bondage, though by prayer too you earn the same fruit. Meditation needs concentration, after controlling the claims of senses. You must picture before your inner eye the Form on which you elect to contemplate. Or, you can elect to meditate on a flame, a steady straight flame of light. Picture it as spreading on all sides, becoming bigger and bigger; enveloping all and growing in you, until there is nothing else except light. In the glory of that all-enveloping Light, all hate and envy, which are the evil progeny of darkness, will vanish. Know that the same light is in all. Even he, whom you were treating as your worst rival, has the selfsame light in his innermost heart! - Divine Discourse, Jan 22, 1967.

Thought for the Day Jun 02, 2024 “Dive deep, O mind, dive deep In the ocean of God's beauty; If you descend to the uttermost depths, There you will find the gem of love.” - Bengali hymn Eknath Easwaran's Commentary Don’t think the purpose of meditation is to go deep into consciousness, wrap a blanket around yourself, and say, “How cozy! I’m going to curl up in here by myself; let the world burn.” Not at all. We go deep into meditation so that we can reach out farther and farther to the world outside. In meditation we are going deep into ourselves, into the utter solitude that is within. As a counterbalance to this, it is necessary to be with people: to laugh with them, to sing with them, and to enjoy the healthy activities of life. Meditation and selfless action go hand in hand. When we try to live more for others than for ourselves, this will deepen our meditation. When we deepen our meditation, more and more energy will be released with which we can love and help others.

3 ways to align with your spirit when you are down 1. Connect Through Silence and Meditation Find a quiet space where you can center yourself. Close your eyes, take deep breaths, and focus on being present. Meditation calms the mind, allowing you to reconnect with your inner self and hear the gentle guidance of your spirit. You can also repeat positive affirmations or prayers to realign with peace and purpose. 2. Engage in Soul-Nourishing Activities Do something that brings you joy or peace, such as journaling, walking in nature, or listening to uplifting music. These activities raise your vibration and help you tap into your inner strength and intuition. 3. Express Gratitude and Reflect When you’re down, it’s easy to focus on what’s wrong. Shift your perspective by listing things you're grateful for. Reflect on past challenges you've overcome to remind yourself of your resilience and divine guidance.

2024 Humanitarian Guided Meditation An active meditation to assist with clearing out the negative emotions and frequencies that vibrate from 1 to 9 energetically, as they represent the foundational energies from within. As spiritual beings living this physical life, the importance of freeing oneself from the emotional entanglements that no longer serve one is vital and essential. With no judgement or blame, at one point, taking ownership and personal responsibility with healing one's past, as a peaceful closure and moving forward with new choices and an opportunity to uplevel into the 5D consciousness. https://lnkd.in/gGcZZEms https://lnkd.in/gJtvEk-V

Does meditation mean that we become free from all thoughts? Some people have this idea that our thoughts are the cause of our troubles and the way to become peaceful is by becoming free from all thought and therefore even when they practice meditation, they think that the purpose of meditation is to stop all thought. However, such a conception arises from a misunderstanding that thought is a characteristic of our conditioned mind. However, thought is a characteristic of our spiritual essence, our soul itself. So, meditation is about turning off the mind so that we can turn on the soul – so that mundane thoughts stop and divine thoughts begin.
