Nonprofit grant training equips organizations with the essential knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the complex landscape of grant funding. Additional Grant Training Sessions/Starting a Nonprofit Sessions were added in April and May 2024. Message below if you are interested in more information. Through comprehensive training programs, nonprofits learn how to identify suitable funding opportunities, develop compelling grant proposals, and effectively manage grant awards. These training sessions often cover various aspects of the grant-seeking process, including research techniques, proposal writing strategies, budgeting, and compliance requirements. By investing in grant training, nonprofits can enhance their capacity to secure funding, strengthen their programs and services, and ultimately advance their mission to create positive social impact within their communities.

Every foundation has different priorities and preferences. The Selby Foundation works to be as transparent as possible about our grant process and preferences. Much like all foundations, we are not able to award funds to every nonprofit that submits a proposal. Here are some recommendations that are specific to our work: https://lnkd.in/erJTsCfD

yesterday I watched another small nonprofit miss out on $300K in grant funding... and this one was neck to neck with another org that applied. the other org got it because the grant reviewers had built a relationship with that org over the years and knew their work. the other nonprofit missed out but they also didn't explore other options and didn't understand how grant stacking ACTUALLY works! it's not just about applying to multiple grants... it's about strategically 𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 them to fund your ENTIRE mission! you keep applying to the same grants everyone else is applying to... when there are THOUSANDS of other opportunities that align with your work! you're not even LOOKING in the right places! if you weren't eligible, did you look into WHAT your nonprofit needs to become eligible? did you plan for THAT? all you've probably done is go on grant search engines thinking you'll find everything there... when the REAL money is in understanding how to: - stack multiple grants for one program - align different funding streams - build relationships with funders - create programs that attract multiple funding sources that's where most smaller nonprofits get stuck!!! too much scattered information and not enough STRATEGY. if you're ready to stop leaving grant money on the table... submit an inquiry for my grant writing services and let's get you FUNDED in 2025! drop a "🔥" in the comments and I'll send you the link...
