Not marketing effectively is a disservice to those who really need your solution. In addition to this, is struggling with low sales. What can be done? Lay adequate groundwork for conversion. How? 📍Double up on marketing. Think of marketing and sales as planting and harvesting – you can't expect to harvest what you didn't plant. Remember, a wider reach in marketing leads to more conversions. If your sales team is struggling, look into marketing. Proper training on marketing skills might be necessary if both are handled by one team. Also apply Patience. Conversion takes time, akin to waiting for crops to grow. Spear Lep is the perfect hull split NOW tool giving you harvest flexibility with a 0-day PHI, no MRLs and strong residual control.
As navel orangeworm (NOW) continues to cause significant losses to crop quality and yield for almond and pistachio growers, third-party research finds SPEAR® LEP delivers performance comparable to – and in some cases better than – competitive products in controlling the pervasive Lepidopteran pest. The series of independent trials were conducted in California between 2021 and 2023 on almonds and pistachios across multiple application windows. The impact of navel orangeworm on #almond and #pistachio crops can’t be over-stated: lost yields, lost time, lost revenue. Early intervention has been a topic at recent grower conferences, as experts point out the efficacy of sanitation practices combined with a spring mummy application of insecticide to help growers get the jump on NOW this season. SPEAR® LEP is the perfect solution: proven success on 650,000+ acres, a new mode of action (IRAC 32) with no known resistance or cross resistance, easy integration into your IPM program — plus MRL exemption. Here’s an interesting article from Dan Gingiss about mixing business and politics. https://lnkd.in/gYParNJY Now I have my personal feelings about the specifics of this situation - basically that what the tractor supply place seems to be doing now is absolutely still mixing politics and business, but just the specific brand of politics their customers seem to value. But more generally - it’s impossible not to have politics in your business because everything has political implications. It’s unavoidable. What you can do though is to operate based on the agreed principles and ethics and mission but not necessarily use them as promotional tools. You don’t have to shout about doing what’s right - you may choose to, because it helps your ideal customers find you, but then you have to accept you will also have people who disagree. Setting out specific beliefs and goals and then backing down immediately because of market pressure does rather suggest they weren’t really that important to begin with though.
