Thrilled to share Lightdash's Series A ⚡️ As an engineer at Lightdash, I've seen firsthand how we're transforming the way teams interact with their data. What excites me most is how we're breaking down the barriers between technical and non-technical users, enabling everyone to gain insights from their data without relying on specialists. We’re excited to announce our investment in Lightdash's $11M Series A round, led by Accel. It is hard to imagine a better founding team than Hamzah Chaudhary and Oliver Laslett for tackling the complex challenges that every organization faces in building and maintaining data models, and serving them to key stakeholders seamlessly. Lightdash stands out from traditional BI companies by building tooling that can 10x data and business teams. Some product capabilities that excited us include: 1️⃣ Powerful developer workflow featuring developer previews, CI/CD integration, testing, and automatic linting, to help data organizations standardize their development processes. 2️⃣ Deep integration with dbt, paired with a fully extensible platform to support every layer of the data stack from warehouses, orchestration, and external notebooks. 3️⃣ Semantic layer to standardize business logic throughout an organization, providing the ability for non-technical users to access data insights directly and receive curated insights through its AI analyst. This helps to eliminate the need for SQL knowledge or data expertise. Our investment in Lighdash reflects our commitment to open source and empowering fast scaling merchants with the best tools to run their business. 🚀 Exciting News! 🚀 I'm absolutely delighted to announce the closing of our Series Seed funding and particularly excited to have secured it from those who I now call Partners. It's fair to say it’s been a challenging 12 months, but our perseverance and the involvement of our Partners have brought us to this incredible milestone. And despite the challenges, we have evolved Recast into something that is quite simply a phenomenal fintech solution for media owners. Our conversion metrics and the value we unlock is staggering, and the fact that this can now seamlessly plug into media owners’ platforms/websites is a game-changer.
