In the first part of chapter 5, we have invited guest expert Michelle Leedy, who is an organization effectiveness, design and transformation business leader, passionate about creating value and positive impact through authentic leadership. Anne Katrine Carlsson Sejr and Ivanna Rosendal speak to Michelle about Marie making a CLM (career limiting move) and deciding to join the engineering department to help fix ASLO, she seems to be so caught up in her own orbit that she misses what's going on in the universe that surrounds her. Decisions are made reactively and without much analysis or rationale. We talk about to value of taking a step back and assessing the situation before jumping to conclusions. We debate whether engaging in scuttlebutt (thanks for teaching us a new word) can be helpful when building trust in a new group or is just problematic. We discuss integral parts of a business operating model, how to know which leaders to listen to, and how to do competency assessments. And finally, Michelle gives her take on whether Erik really has Marie's best interests in mind or if he's simply out for her job. 🎧 Listen in your favorite podcast player or directly on our website: https://lnkd.in/d-9eTCvN #changemanagement #organizationaltransformation

EMBRACE FAILURE for more successful leadership! My recent podcast conversation with Jonathan P. Lopez dipped into valuable perspectives on leadership - including the importance of embracing failure, learning from it, and fostering a culture that allows for experimentation and growth. Key Takeaways: 🔑 Welcome Failure: Instead of fearing failure, view it as an opportunity for growth and improvement. Embrace small failures as they offer valuable lessons. 🔑 Open Doors for Exploration: Leaders should encourage their teams to explore new ideas and opportunities. Just like in sports, practice and preparation are key to success. 🔑 Clear Principles: Establish clear principles and boundaries within your organization. This clarity guides decision-making and ensures everyone is aligned. 🚀 The Path Forward: As leaders, it's crucial to adapt and learn continuously. Empower your teams to innovate and be open to new approaches. Together, we can create stronger, more resilient organizations. What are your thoughts on these insights? How do you approach leadership and failure in your organization? Let's keep the conversation going! #Leadership #Management #Innovation #Failure #Resilience #LearningAndDevelopment #BusinessGrowth Top of Form
