I've been including "Hope you're staying as centered as possible through this busy month!" in my emails and it's resonating HARD.
We're all trying to finish up all the year-end tasks on our plate while fighting against the growing "senioritis" as more and more people check out mentally (or physically) between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day. It's hard to stay motivated as the holidays get closer and the days get shorter.
My tips: get outside for fresh air during whatever daylight hours you have, then ruthlessly prioritize the work you have in front of you. Some of it really can wait until 2025.

Do you truly take breaks? 🤒
When you're in the middle of your work and take those short breaks, don't you end up thinking about something?
And if you're still pondering and fretting over something, where is the break?
🙄🙄🙄
Hence, since it's the weekend today, it would alter my perception.
Weekends are days when you have the whole day to think and worry, so you end up overthinking, haha.
And then what's left is no thoughts, and that's what the break is!
I mean, it's Saturday today, so go for it, have a break... Don't think too hard, take a real break.

Finding the Balance This Christmas
How does Christmas impact you? Does it remind you of what truly matters—Joy, Connection, Peace?
This season isn’t about doing it all. It’s about pausing, reflecting, and being present. Yet, how often do leaders let work creep in, feeling overwhelmed by the holiday hustle?
Take a moment to:
✨ Set boundaries around work.
✨ Plan downtime to recharge.
✨ Be present in the moments that matter.
How could embracing this balance transform your holiday season?
It’s funny how we always talk about preparing for Monday, the big "first date" with the workweek – but what about getting ready for the weekend?
We often forget that planning our days off is just as important as gearing up for work. If you wait until Saturday morning to decide what to do, chances are you’ll spend half the day figuring it out and the other half thinking "where did the time go?"
Here’s why planning your weekend on Friday night (or earlier!) matters:
✨ You’ll wake up ready to jump into activities you actually want to do.
✨ It helps you balance rest and fun, so you don’t feel like your weekend was wasted.
✨ No Sunday night blues – you’ll feel refreshed and ready for the new week!
So tonight, while you're wrapping up work, take a few minutes to plan out your weekend. Your future self will thank you! 😎

The weekend has started in NZ; it might still be Friday evening in other parts of the world. Regardless, this is the best time for most employees.
The working week finally comes to a close, and you get a breather for two days. Well, if you're lucky, because some people might be required to work on the weekends too. 🙄
This lift in mood lasts for about one and a half days because once Sunday afternoon comes around, Monday blues set in! If you're unhappy in your job, you know exactly what I mean, don't you? 😣
How long are you willing to keep travelling on this rollercoaster of emotions? Starting from the lowest ebb on Monday mornings and eventually reaching your highest spirits on Friday evenings, and then doing it all again next week, week after week! 😮
Imagine being on a rollercoaster...that never stops! Even if you're a great fan of these rides, it won't take long before you feel like throwing up, right?
Don't just fret and fume about your job and curse your luck or envy others. Take the steering of your life in your hands and do something to change your situation. I can be there to help you navigate this phase if you wish to have an ally to support and guide you. I've been down this path and understand the twists and turns.

🎉 It's Friday, folks! 🎉
As we wrap up another week in this wild ride we call life, let's take a moment to reflect on the past few days. It's been a week of emails, Zoom calls, and coffee cups that seemed to refill themselves (or maybe that was just wishful thinking?).
Monday started with the usual optimism—fresh to-do lists and a belief that THIS would be the week we'd finally conquer the inbox monster. By Wednesday, we were all questioning our life choices as we stared at the screen, wondering if the emails were multiplying overnight. And by Thursday, we were practically begging the clock to speed up, dreaming of the weekend like a kid waiting for summer vacation.
But here we are! We made it to Friday, and it's time to celebrate the small victories. Like that moment you actually found a pen that worked on the first try, or when you remembered it was your turn to pick up the kids before you were halfway home. 🤦♂️
As we slide into the weekend, let's promise ourselves a few things: more laughter, less screen time, and maybe even a nap or two. Whether you’re planning a family adventure, a Netflix binge, or just some quality time with your couch, make it count.
Here's to a weekend filled with whatever makes you happiest. And remember, the only spreadsheets you should be looking at are the ones with your weekend plans. 😉
Cheers to the weekend, everyone! 🥂

My Week, My Rules!
One thing I’ve learned recently is how much of a difference planning my day makes. Here's a little glimpse into how I structure my week:
🌞 Mornings: I start my day with focus—work, breakfast, and even moments to check in on LinkedIn.
🥗 Afternoons: I make time to recharge, whether it’s a quick nap, a stroll, or catching up with loved ones.
🌙 Evenings: I wind down with dinner and family time, making sure I end my day feeling accomplished.
Having a plan keeps me balanced and productive.
It’s not just about being perfect it’s about staying intentional.
If you ever need someone to help streamline your schedule or manage your day, I’ve got you covered!

25 ways to make your Sunday more than just a workday!
Whether you’re a workaholic or just need some downtime, these ideas will help you recharge and enjoy your day off.
What’s your go-to Sunday activity?
The holiday season has a way of reminding us to give—to our families, our friends, our communities. But how often do we include ourselves on that list?
It’s easy to get swept up in the busyness of December, juggling work deadlines, holiday prep, and social gatherings. You’re giving so much of your energy to others—but have you thought about what you might need? Sometimes, the greatest gift you can give is to yourself.
Permission to rest. To say no without guilt. To spend a quiet evening wrapped in a blanket, sipping tea, and just being. To recharge your mind, your body, and your spirit without feeling like you need to “earn” it.
The truth is, you can’t pour from an empty cup. Giving yourself time to rest isn’t selfish; it’s necessary. It’s what allows you to show up for others in a meaningful way and enter the new year with clarity and purpose.
That’s one of the reminders in The Time Poor Series: Mindset—that taking care of yourself is just as important as anything else on your to-do list. It’s about finding those moments to reset, even in the middle of the chaos, and letting yourself breathe a little easier.
So, if this holiday season feels like a whirlwind, take a moment to pause. Prioritize yourself, even if it’s just for a little while. Because when you give yourself rest, you’re giving yourself—and those around you—the best version of you.
Need a little inspiration on how to start? The Time Poor Series: Mindset is here to help. You can find it on timepoor.me and Amazon. Let’s make this holiday season not just about giving, but about finding balance too.
