90% of #healthtech companies I talk to aren't at the level of sophistication they need to be to get into the NHS. They usually understand it at face value. But the NHS has many dimensions. Maybe not quantum dimensions. But often invisible currents that mean cause and effect can feel unpredictable. I don't find the NHS unpredictable, and I think it's entirely winnable... IF you get to know as many of the cultural, complex human dimensions as possible. Get ready 👉 https://lnkd.in/ew6N8psC

Have you considered the administrative burdens clinicians face in the era of digital health? Navigating electronic health records and digital systems adds layers of complexity to their workflow. A survey by the Canadian Medical Association in 2021 revealed that clinicians spend on average 10 hours per week on administrative tasks using digital health technology. These burdens can impact not only their efficiency, but also their ability to focus on patient care. As champions of digital health, it's crucial to address these challenges to ensure that technology enhances rather than hinders the clinician's role. Streamlining processes and leveraging technology effectively can alleviate these administrative burdens. Together, we can empower clinicians to focus more on what matters most: delivering high-quality care to patients. #DigitalHealth #ClinicianBurnout #HealthTech #PatientCare

From a recent personal experience is the rise of #HealthTech going to stop face to face GP? The massive reduction in NHS spending has put the private sector leaps and bounds ahead when it comes to getting a GP appointment, literally within minutes opposed to months! Running a tech company myself that supports healthcare providers, you just couldn't do your job if it wasn't for the tech infrastructure around you. Personally very excited for what they could bring in and believe it should be embraced. Early diagnosis tools using AI/ML could be the difference between life and death, not a replacement for experienced doctors and nurses but in an aging population a welcome support arm. Does the introduction of more tech in healthcare scare you? #innovation #digitalhealth #healthcare #technology #recruitment

This quote speaks to the heart of what many of us in healthcare technology are striving to achieve—relieving the growing documentation burden on physicians and providers. In an era where electronic health records (EHRs) and administrative tasks can overwhelm clinicians, we are uniquely positioned to create solutions that allow them to focus more on patient care and less on paperwork. The question, “What is my job on the planet?” is a call to action for those of us in healthcare technology. Our role is to innovate and take responsibility for the tools and technologies that will ease this burden, improving both the provider experience and, ultimately, patient outcomes. In a landscape where burnout is increasingly common, our contributions can be the difference between a system that hinders and one that helps. 📸Legacy -James Kerr. "As there can never be a perfect spouse, there can never be a perfect EMR." - Santosh G Honavar To develop an EMR/EHR that truly meets the needs of physicians, it's essential to understand their workflow and address real problems in their practice. Rather than creating a solution looking for a problem, we need to focus on solving existing challenges. At Medial Health, we prioritize listening to our customers and integrating their feedback directly into our product. By understanding how physicians work and addressing their specific needs, we strive to develop an EMR/EHR that enhances efficiency and supports better patient care. #EHR #Healthcare #HealthTech #HealthTalk #HealthInnovations
